Good accommodation for a reasonable price
Reviewed 4 june, 2018
We were skeptical when we realized we had booked a university residence but found clean, comfortable accommodation. We had a two bedroom "suite" with a large bathroom, a fridge, and a microwave. There was a television in the living area, but no seating other than the two chairs at the dining table. We were there only to sleep so that was not a concern, but if we had wanted to spend time in the suite and watch TV - or if there had been more than two of us - we would have been disappointed. There was no hairdryer in the bathroom, but the friendly and helpful staff at the front desk quickly found one. There was a small fee for an adequate, continental style breakfast. The hot breakfast mentioned in the booking details was not available when we were there. Lots of fast food restaurants in the area. Definitely a good deal overall.
Very Happy with our stay

There were 3 adults and one dog and we chose a two bedroom room. Very comfortable and clean. The bedrooms are a good size and the bathroom is large. The sitting area is quite small. Smaller tv , two chairs, a small fridge and sink and a microwave. We stayed on the first floor and we're happy with our stay. Only negatives were.... The ice machine was Out of Order and there was a charge for breakfast even though it said under the Amenities that it was included. You could pay around $4 for Continental or $ 10 for a hot breakfast. But we would definitely stay here again.
Lacrosse team stay over

We have stayed here at least once a year for the past several years and love the experience. The rooms with separate bedrooms are great and very handy to have the kitchenette with a full size fridge. We've held team BBQs on the back patio and enjoyed the pleasant surroundings. We always choose the hot breakfast for a modest additional fee and its an inexpensive way to get a decent start to a busy day without having to go to a restaurant. There are several take out or dine in restaurants within easy walking distance of the Centre. Staff are always polite, friendly and very helpful as the College runs a hospitality program and many of the students work at the college during the summer break. Parking is free, and there's lots of space outside for kids to work off some extra energy. There are also some TV rooms available in specific locations where a team can organize a movie & popcorn evening. If someone wants to prepare a more elaborate meal to take back to their room there is also a full size common kitchen on each floor, as well as laundry facilities in the building. An inexpensive option for a stay in a metropolitan centre. Still just a short drive into Toronto proper. Not far from a park on Lake Ontario and other local attractions.
Good accommodations for attending an IEEE conference

I just attended the IEEE SEGE 2016 conference. The University offered these accommodations for attendees. Nothing spectacular. Dormitory rooms for university guests. But they were very clean and the student front desk folks were very courteous and helpful. You couldn't find a better price at any of the nearby hotels. I would recommend university visitors to stay here.
Very good place

My room was clean and comfortable, as was the bed. It's a two-bedroom dorm room, so nothing fancy, but it suited my needs just fine. Staff were friendly and courteous. I paid the extra $4 for the hot breakfast and it was pretty good. Plenty of free parking. I'd go back.
