very nice room and very quiet nice options included with rental such as kitchen dishes utensils pots and pans. very handy to have your own washer and dryer. Close to Little Italy which was great. Easy access to 417 and downtown and Dows lake

Functional, Comfortable One-Bedroom with Easy Access to Ottawa Neighbourhoods

We make the SOHO Champagne our regular place to stay when in Ottawa visiting family. It is both comfortable, functional and includes access to a well-equipped gym. The location is ideal with quick access onto the 417 highway.

Clinical decor in the condo style: grey and white with lots of white and grey. Relatively clean except for a few dust bunnies. Concierge avoids eye contact with guests and did not respond when greeted. As of Feb 2022, construction surrounds the Soho and starts at 7am, continuing until dark, so bring your earplugs or find somewhere else to stay. You will not be able to open the window or balcony door. They are only just digging the foundation next door and a 200 foot crane is working non-stop dropping material on the other construction site across the road. Expect to feel the building shaking from the pounding and a substantial layer of dust on your newly washed car in the underground parking garage. You will be able to see into hundreds of other people's windows, if that's your thing. Floor to ceiling windows means you are also on display. Also, the walls are fairly thin so you will hear your neighbours scrambling eggs at 6am or.....well, you know, late at night. Elevators can be audible zooming up and down, depending on where your unit is located. The only up side is that it's close to the Rideau Canal and various parks.

COVID means no use of amenities. We get a room for our children when they visit us - we live in a condo close by. If it wasn't for their location, we'd be looking to try out other suite hotels. Not a huge deal, but there are no hangars, toaster and desk lamp were broken. We advised concierge and they ignored us. On the plus side, we found the kitchen to be nicely stocked with dishes, cutlery, etc.

Nice view, very confortable bed but need to be clean.

Everything was good but the cleaning during COVID-19 was not ok and the heating system was not working good it stayed cold. When the Rideau canal is open you can go skating by walk. It’s a modern and very cute condo.
