Liked - The cottage is very lovingly furnished down to the last detail! Lots of little goodies in the room. We felt extremely comfortable and well received by Albert and Elza. The view to the river is fantastic.

The Best Lodge Ever!

This is the second time we stayed in The Riverside lodge because It's the most amazing lodge in South Africa! Everything is perfect: rooms spacious and full of amenities, beautiful decor, sparkling clean, quiet but central location, excellent breakfast a la carte. Much thought was put on every little detail in order for the quests to feel good: chocolate and cold bottle of water every evening, cherry (drink) with glasses in the room and a bonus: a free car wash every morning! The hosts, Elza and Albert are the most wonderful people and it's a pleasure knowing them. A must stay in SA!

We loved staying at this property! The hosts are so friendly and accommodating and even sends personal whatsapp messages with ideas on what to do and visit and places to eat and shop. Very family orientated and the breakfast was DELICIOUS!

A lovely guesthouse owned by a great couple. I got a bad tummy virus and we were even allowed to stay longer in the morning although our room was prebooked. I was also provided with tablets by the owners. Thank you. 🇩🇰🇬🇧🇿🇦

This lodge was one of the best we stayed in during our trip. The hosts were great, their attention to detail is amazing, they made us feel welcome even before we arrived and it ensured all was perfectly arranged as we were at home. We had booked a room, however next time we go for a lodge. Thank you Albert and Elza.
