Great experience - Sunday late lunch
Warm, very good service and food on a busy but wet Sunday approaching Christmas. Two pre-teen children in our party of six and they enjoyed it as much as the adults. It has been a couple of years since our last visit and the menu has got even better over that period.
Fabulous Pub and Food
We used to visit the Cherry Tree once every couple of months however, we now go on a weekly basis due to the fabulous food and service. The menu highlights local and seasonal produce and it is consistently at a very high standard, all set in a great pub environment. The menu and quality of food is exceptional and we are slowly working our way through, roll on next week...
Teeny tiny cloud-like omelet
Beautiful old building furnished to very high standard. Staff were amazingly friendly. Menu very tempting so took me a while to decide. I decided on the fluffy omelet. Was soooooo cheesey and so light. The perfect starter. I would give five stars just for that, but wine list was lacking. But it’s a pub.... but it was far too expensive and the omelet far too good for it to be ..... just a pub... the wine list was a little weak to be more than a good pub.... so confused. I will have to return.
Peaceful setting
We stayed here for 4 nights In October and thorough enjoyed our stay. The Cherry Tree Inn is a lovely old inn and our room in the annexe was really comfortable with a king sized bed. There was a lovely bath and overhead shower. We were made to feel very welcome by Chloe who made us feel at home. She was very friendly and gave us lots of tips for places to see. It is an ideal location for visiting Henley and we had a lovely boat trip on the river. We also visited Goring and had a walk along the river Thames. We got a train to London From Goring which Took an hour.
Absolutely delicious food!
I had lunch woth some friends and had a squash and sweet potato curry and I have to say it was simply delicious. The flavours were so subtle and delicate and the texture just perfect. i went into the pub to congratulate the chef.
