Excellent hotel
Great location, really central to all the night life and beach. Good location for shopping. Hotel rooms really comfortable and clean - staff really friendly and helpful. Good roof top pool with bar and restaurant
Excellent hotel
All staff are very helpful and approachable especially Ya. They all kind very professional. All necessities were very closed, food were goods. The accomodation were also goods, housekeepers provided all necessay things and clean very well. I said the hotel is very nice to stay in all over all ratings.
Nice hotel in the center
The hotel is very close to the beach. The staff is very good. I can choose from many foods on the breakfast. The jacuzzi is excellent. The staff helped to the luggage and everytime the security guard opened the door. I could use the safed private parking for the rented scooter.
Disappointing
Having asked for a quiet room at the rear, on arrival we were given a 2nd floor room at the front which sits next to the ver noisy night activity. Furthermore we were informed on arrival that the only lift had been imperative for 7 days and would not be repaired for a further 3 weeks. The excuse given for the long outage by reception was that it could not be repaired until the insurance paid up? Whist we were ok climbing 5 flights of stairs to dine or bathe others found it difficult. Surely a simple email or telephone call prior to arrival would have been appropriate. Having been allocated room 203 we could not get the shower to give a constant heat and on asking for it to be repaired we were instantly offered another room which indicated to us that it was a known fault. With little help we moved to room 109 only to be told 30 minutes later that we would have to move again to room 103. Still at the front and even closer to the street noise. Still we took it on the chin so that we could shower without uncontrollsble burning or freezing. Sadly having moved into the 2nd room in 30 minutes we then found that the tv had very poor reception with most channels unwatchable and a bed that woke you up with noise everytime you turned over. On reporting the tv to reception i was informed that all TV's were the same to which I reminded them that the tv in my initial room (203) had good reception. Net result no improvement to either fault in 5 days. In summary the staff are fantastic when you talk to them and the food was of a high quality. However, as every room had faults I must question the maintenance regime and the very limited ability of the staff to repair or replace faulty equipment. As you walk around the hotel it appears 'tired' for example faulty service draws and cupboards in the dining area reflect low levels af management awareness and poor maintenance. This is the second time in 26 months that we have stayed at the Bangla Suites and the drop in standard means we will look elsewhere in the future.
Very good
Everything was very nice. I have nothing negative to point out. Service was good. Everybody was very friendly. Room was nice, comfortable and very spacious. We loved the bathtub. We will go back again for a longer tiem.
