Faulty towers
We stayed here for 2 nights. We arrived late on the Friday evening and was told we would have to have our breakfast at 8.30. We were given a order form to fill in with what we wanted. We got to our room and there were cobwebs in the bathroom otherwise the room was fine but dated. We went for breakfast the next morning the first thing I noticed as I sat down was how dirty the floor was. When the food came out the order was wrong on it both days! Even though you had to give 12 plus hours notice. The other thing that really pissed me off was the guy keeping coming over to the table when we were eating and leaning over to get the cereal box and then the plates. He made a big thing about hygiene and and yet he would not leave us alone to eat our food. I just felt that with the way that things are at the moment that the place should have been a lot cleaner and that we should have been left to eat breakfast with out basil faulty getting in the way.
Very disappointed
We had two rooms - Arrived and My sons floor and toilet area needed cleaning. So I cleaned it as apparently all the rooms had been cleaned that morning! I went into my room and started unpacking- went to put my underwear in a drawer and found a moulding punnet of strawberries and apple with fruit flies flying out of the drawer at me. Also a used water bottle. I told the landlords and he didn’t seem phased by it just said oh sorry. No care for his customers. Alarm bells rang at this point as due to COVID-19 surely these rooms need to be thoroughly cleaned and inspected between each stay???? I did not feel clean in the room so bought my own products and cleaned it myself. Not something you really do when away but I felt better afterwards. Walls so thin we were awoken every morning by the adjoining room talking and tv too loud. We were obviously upset by this carry on and My sisters room was also dirty and we were not treated very fairly as paying customers. We paid over £800 to stay for 4 nights . Breakfast was the only good thing about the stay. Do not recommend this establishment as i wouldn’t want anyone else to have to injure this. There are plenty of other nice places nearby to stay as we found out.
Absolute dive
Good point was breakfast ,, the rest was absolutely disgusting,, had to clean bathroom floor From other people’s dirt and hair, when I complained about this I was told it had been done and they would do it again when I went out but I didn’t want to use the loo in the state it was so I did it myself, had a leaking toilet and was told it was the way I was flushing it and to clean it up(I don’t think so) my sister found mouldy fruit in draws and fruit flys flying about, also my nephews bathroom floor was disgusting and we cleaned that too,,(has to buy our own anti bac wipes)also we had dirty cups given to us daily Obviously these were meant to be clean,,staff were very rude and nothing was taken seriously or dealt with in a professional manner,, was spoken to like these things didn’t matter but actually I was a paying customer on holiday, would not recommend this hotel, all in all there was 5 or us staying there in 3 Rooms spend over £800 for all 3 rooms for 4 Nights,, emailed the hotel once we had left to try and rectify the issues but clearly they aren’t interested,, absolutely devastated as this was a replacement instead of our 2 week holiday in Tenerife,, I don’t feel these owners are aware of a pandemic at the Moment due to the dirty ness of the Hotel yet They worry about wearing a mask up The stairs and paying customers staying in other people’s dirt
Great place to stay
I recently stayed here for a few days. Very clean room and shared areas. The cooked breakfast kept me going until lunch time. The owner was lovely and made me feel very welcome. Recommend it for a central well priced to stay for the sea and local area.
Short Break
Visted with a friend. We had two on suite single rooms which were a good size. Plenty of cupboard space. As with most accomadation the on suite was a shower, but if you wanted a bath there is a bathroom. I was happy with a shower but my friend appricataed the bath. Comfortable bed, clean, nice breakfast. Good location, very close to sea front and twin centre. Will stay again.
