Check in: tried to make me pay again even though was prepaid reservation. Room: large amount of spilled sugar and something smeared on desk. Pen and paper had greasy something on it. TV stopped working for a while. Empty toilet paper roll on holder on check in. Hotel was not very clean. Halls and elevators likely not vacuumed for at least a few days. Breakfast did not look edible but coffee ok. (McDonalds is next door) No one available to check out and I waited a while so I just left. Bed was comfortable

Sandra at the front desk was always very helpful and polite. When I spoke to her about my concerns on a matter, she responded quickly. I felt like she cares and has cared about other people with respect and always ready to help. Kathy, who works in the dining area, was not only very pleasant to talk to but kept everything in the area clean and well-stocked. She was always busy cleaning up, adding more food and making everyone feel comfortable. She is a true asset to Comfort Inn. I have been to many Comfort Inns but never as clean and with caring people. Will be back there again for sure!!

Very nice hotel. Rooms are clean and updated. Nice pool area. They served a good hot breakfast with bacon, eggs and the works. The staff were friendly. I would definitely recommend and will stay here again.

Horrible. Short family getaway to lake erie and stayed in painesville ohio. Called week before check in and was assured that indoor pool would be open. They were finishing a few things and would be open in a couple of days-this was only reason we chose this choice hotel for indoor pool. Got there at check in day and indoor pool was closed. I showed my recent call the week before on my cell phone said it did not matter. I stated we wanted a refund and we were going to another hotel. While at front desk attendant explained that manager was doing final walk through on indoor pool with maintenance and that it would be open. They did not do a thing other than set the lounge chairs up. It was ready. They had told others that had drove six hours with kids that it was closed. We decided to stay. Probably another mistake. Breakfast was awful. Rubbery flat eggs with not fully cooked bacon. Because of covid they did not clean rooms if you stayed more than one night. We had to keep going to front desk to get towels and we had to find bags to empty trash. Then we asked for bar of hand soup for bathroom sink-they were waiting for deliver truck to deliver they were out. How does a hotel that big not realize they are low on hand soup. Only good thing about this trip is the weather was nice to enjoy lake. Do not recommend.

When we arrived no member of staff was wearing a mask. When asked about this they said "it is not mandatory so we are not doing it." No hand sanitizer either. We were told that if we discussed masks with any staff or guests we would be asked to leave. The manager called us at our request and asked us if we had any health problems (no) and went on to say if we had we should nt be traveling. We have never been subjected to such defensive hostility, ever. Rude, rude, rude. NEVER stay there.
