Convenient hotel.
This hotel is well situated close to the airport and the bus lets you off right in front of the hotel. The front desk staff are friendly and helpful. Our room was on the 3rd and 5th floor (we were in this hotel at the beginning and end of our trip, which both did not have very pretty views at all. The rooms were small but clean. It would be most helpful to have more facial tissues and even wet wipes available in rooms. The breakfast and dinner buffets were tasty and plentiful with lots of variety. I found the tables a bit too close to each other for comfort. I enjoyed using the small indoor pool, although the water was a bit cool. We loved the fact that there is a bike rental store attached to this hotel, and my husband was very pleased with the bike and service of that establishment. All in all a pleasant stay at this hotel.
Fabulous Hotel
We found a gem with this hotel. The staff were very helpful nothing any trouble, food fabulous, so much choice.I would reccomend this hotel nothing too much trouble. Palma is a ten minute bus ride the bus stop is outside the hotel. The price to Palma is only 2 euro.
Amazing Hotel! Amazing Staff
Our stay at Hotel Java was beyond amazing. Their staff was so eager to help us and make sure our stay was the best ever. Their never ending buffet were outstanding. Hats off to the chiefs and to all the restaurant staff as well. Restaurants here in the US need to take note. The customer service here in the US doesn't even come close to the excellent service at Hotel Java. We were there in 2016 as well and plan on going back next year.

Javamazing!
After a bad experience with a package holiday with TUI last year, this year we decided to do do the research and book our hotel and flights ourselves. We were looking for a nice hotel with good food somewhere on the seafront, and weren’t too fussed about local amenities as we had hired a car and planned on exploring the island for most of the holiday. Did the research, read the reviews and went with Hotel Java, 5mins drive from the airport. What a gem we found. Hotel Java staff were incredible! Polite, informed, multilingual, more than helpful and always went the extra mile. The hotel itself was spotlessly clean, the facilities were excellent for this time of year and everything was basically as advertised, which might sound strange, but after last years holiday where we were promised the world and received nothing of the kind, Hotel Java more than made up for it. We had 9 days at Java, and had booked a ‘Standard Room with Sea View’ via the Travel Republic website and were allocated room 828, which is located on the east side of the hotel. There are 8 floors in the hotel, so this was on the top floor. One of the best rooms in the hotel for sure, a great view from the balcony. Glad we paid the extra for the sea view. As the hotel is in an L shape, Rooms (1-8)00 to (1-8)10 were side facing and therefore would only catch the sun during the morning to mid afternoon - you wouldn’t catch the sunset from these rooms as the sun sets behind these rooms. The room was clean and smart but no thrills to be honest. Double bed was two singles pushed together which is standard in these sort of hotels, but always takes a bit of the magic out of a holiday, no hot drinks station and the safe was an additional purchase at €6 a day, which for a 4 star hotel is always cheeky if you ask me. TV had a couple of English news channels, giving you the choice of watching Brexit, Brexit or Brexit... blah! Many more channels if you speak Spanish, French or German. In terms of food and drink, there was plenty of variety all of which appeared to be freshly prepared and to a really good standard. We went half board and there was loads to choose from each night. Food can not be faulted, it was excellent. Considering this was buffet style catering nothing seemed overcooked or lazily prepared, it was well presented, cooked really well, hot where necessary and tasted great. As for the drinks, Sangria and cocktails were our preference, both reasonably priced and were well prepared and presented - effort was put in to making the drinks that bit special for the guests. The local amenities were enough to keep you interested of an evening and there was plenty of free parking on the streets. Free parking in the hotel too, but only 4 spaces, so in the height of season it might be trickier to find a spot than we found it in October. We didn’t use the pools or the wellness centre, but all looked pleasant and inviting. Nothing more to say than a big thank you to Hotel Java and the staff, it was a pleasure staying with you and we would be more than happy to return to you next time we visit the beautiful island of Mallorca!
