do not book for any mml hotels as they are all closed down.they will take your money and put you into a hotel of their own choice with a hire hotel tax.when you arrive at your chosen hotel you will find a note on the hotel door telling you that it is closed.this is so for the carabean hotel and palma bay so i assume hte other hotels they own will be the same
Great Value
So this is my last day here with my son. We booked this as a last minute get away, but after reading the reviews we were scared as to what we would be arriving to. The reception staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are basic but have everything you need comfy bed, television (in fairness only two channels in English) Bathroom with bath and shower. WiFi you have to pay for and is only for one device which I didn't realise when I purchased it but we managed. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful. Food is basic but you will always find something. The drinks are served in small plastic cups at two per guest per time but I could live with that. Due to covid the hotel is quiet empty, and there is no entertainment or activities for the kids taking place. There is also only a cooke of pools open but so what the wester is ace. Locatiin wise you couldn't ask for more, 5 minute walk down the hill which is very steep and your on the main strip, shops, bars and the most incredible beach. Overall we have had a lovely holiday and definitely had our moneys worth. Please do t be put off by the negative reviews.
Distinctively below average now
I have just stopped here 24/30 July. I was in the Accapulco building which hasn't changed since I have been travelling to El Aranel. Before arrival I sent an email to confirm it was open, and received no reply at al. On arrival I got a single occupancy room with a bed that is ok for a 10 yr old not a 6ft 2 16 stone man. I aksed for a room change and was told there were none available however I could upgrade (lack of service and respect). On the 3rd night my air con gave up the chase, i couldn't sleep so at 5 am I went to reception and was greeted only as I can describe as staff that couldnt be bothered helping me at that time. They said the air con would be looked at. Well after that it started to blow but like a fanheater that I would have been happy with in the winter. I kept the big fan from reception to try and compensate, however that gave it's own issue. I'm not one to complain and bither staff but on leaving again the staff were not bothered about my plight. The best pools were not open, shop was not open, main pool bar was not open. The food was not up to it's usual standard and there is a lady member of staff serving that comes across as immensely rude in her manner.
Walk away. Just walk away. Part ways with your money elsewhere.
If you are over 35 is not for you. If you want to sleep at night is not for you. If you don't like to queue FOR EVER for your food and drinks is not for you. So with the Covid measures in place (sanitizer everywhere, not sharing elevator,all inclusive with food picked for you) everything is a QUEUE. Some of the personnel are trying hard but my humble opinion is that the problem is poor management. And they cater mostly for the Spanish, Germans and Dutch. The only English speaking TV programs are the ones with international news. Nothing else. Only two drinks per person at one time so after you finish queing for ever,you drink your little plastic cups and queue again for ever. At meals time you need to queue for bread and drinks(forever) and go and queue again for food. For a 3 stars all inclusive from 1 to 10 I will give it a 4.
Nice clean hotel
Arrived at this hotel young man on reception was brilliant very friendly and very polite, checked into room a bit small but then its only for sleeping in at night cleaner was un room every day so cant complain food excellent plenty of varities def use these next time we return
