It was okay.
No one will be at the reception after midnight apart from security guy. Not much parking inside and quite disturbing to put it in the public parking since the hotel doesn’t take any responsibility of those area. The room is like a normal apartment room, small but very clean. Decent breakfast and okay lunch. To stay after a heavy night is good. Dirty beaches with lots of sharp edges porcelain laying around. Lots of broken coconuts and glass. Nice staff and very nice lady at the housekeeping department.
Light lunch
On a whim, my husband and I decided to have a light lunch. A spontaneous, but pleasant surprise. Could not fault the service. The staff was very welcoming. The service was exquisite and the food was excellent, Could not find anything to criticise. . We made enquiries about forthcoming events and the manager could not have been more helpful. We are now armed with all the events to come. We are looking forward to attending some of them. Akiresh who served us throughout always had a smile on his face and he was pleasant at all times. Good customer service. Keep up the good work.
The perfect Stay
Really, one of the best stay since long. Used to higher caliber hotels, I was surprised by the Mystik Lifestyle. Young team managed by Frank, who, by the way, is an amazing and caring Manager, our moment was pure bliss. Cozy and charming, I highly recommend! Thanks to Frank, Jessen and the team.
Overall nice experience
We created a small group of people working in the tourism sector to go and evaluate a group of hotels being professsionals in the industry and here are our comments: It is a very cosy and nice hotel to be in. The staffs were absolutely marvellous and as we reached there, the front office manager even proposed to give us a free upgrade to a superior room as the hotel was quite empty (visitng post covid-19). the room is very well maintained and clean and the bed allows a very good night of sleep. However the only bad point is that the food was not great, we tasted a seafood tagliatelle which was so-so and even breakfast did not match our expectations at all however their club sandwich and the bread that they served us was great. I guess they are very good in preparing their own bread and should really improve the food in general. If you are a reall foodie like us, maybe this hotel is not a really good option. Apart from the food, I definitely suggest this hotel to anyone willing to spend some good time there with an amazing staff crew.
Good hotel
We spent the first 3 days at Mauritius at this hotel. It was a small, nice and quiet hotel next to the ocean. It don’t have a beach but they have a nice relax spot where you can lay down in relaxing chairs and see the ocean. The rooms are nicely decorated and have a excellent shower. Beds are good. Breakfast is simple. But good for a 3 star hotel. With lots of choice. Also the staf at the hotel is very friendly. They help you with everything if you ask for it. Dinner was also good. For a good price you have a good meal. Drinks are expensive, but that’s everywhere on Mauritius. The hotel has a nice rooftop bar where you can oversee the ocean. If you like doing trips and don’t want to spent all day in the hotel this is a good place to stay. It has all the basics you need and from there you can explore the island. If you want to lay down at the beach you have to pick a bigger and more luxury hotel.
