Great Stay
Very pleased with our stay in Tower 2. We stayed in 1904, 3 bedrooms. and after reading the reviews, you never know which condo your getting so i was a bit bervous. I didnt think the place would be as nice as it was. Kitchen fully stocked. Keurig, Toaster, Blender. Plenty of place settings. W\D. Huge laundry room. Clean beds. Excellent view. Bring extra towels as there were only a few, but no biggie! Furniture was nice...place was decorated nice especially the kids rooms. Every room had a tv as well. We will be back!
Studio 1109 Majestic Resort Panama City
Studio was clean. Needed new shower head and updated appliances. Mattress was terrible...very cheap one. With all that said, the location is great, security and staff very friendly. Loved the view from the balcony and the balcony furniture was comfortable. If you are elderly the tub is very high to step in. watched dolphins every morning while eating breakfast.
Great Getaway
First time going and it was great. We enjoyed the beach the food well almost everything. We went at the wrong time because it was a little cold but we still had fun. We are planning to take a family trip soon.
Very disappointed
I am very disappointed in Best Beach Getaways who are affiliated with VRBO. We ran into a very severe situation with a daughter and could not use our rental. We were met with rudeness and lack of concern. The man my son-in-law talked with was rude and snotty in customer service and would not even give my son-in-law a moment to talk. I do not recommend this going through this Best Beach unless they change their customer care. I am sure the hotel is fine, just not the company you go through to rent it.
Very Disappointed
Our flight was cancelled due to weather and we had to move our dates of travel. We spent DAYS on the phone with Expedia and the hotel only to end up with zero understanding from the hotel regarding the situation or a refund. Expedia put in a cancellation request for us within the required time frame but the hotel straight up lied to us saying they didn’t receive the cancellation early enough. We talked to a manager on the phone a day before the cancellation had to be in telling her about our situation. Not sure what her job is as she obviously didn’t note this down or help us out in any way. The manager we talked to the next day, who said they didn’t receive a cancellation early enough, was very rude and didn’t show any understanding at all. This is no way to run a business or handle potential future customers... some amount of human compassion/understanding is needed in any business but this hotel is lacking it. Covid are tough times for many and we don’t have money to just throw out the window. They took our 600 ish dollars even though we didn’t stay there a single night and the cancellation came in before our stay. We ended up paying for a DIFFERENT hotel and had the greatest experience with the staff and customer service there (Marriott). Beware of this place if you are worried about potential flight disruptions- we for sure won’t be staying here in the future. Ended up being a way more expensive vacation than planned and many hours wasted on the phone for no reason. But thanks to Marriott for making it a good vacation despite all this.
