Very good experience, felt really safe given the circumstances
We stayed for a total of 3 nights in a beach front suite. The room was very comfortable, spacious and clean. We had a small issue with the tub, but maintenance took care of it very quickly. We only used internet in the room, which worked fine. Not lightning fast, but more than adequate and very stable. The beach is nothing to write about, you just won't want to go in it, but that is more related to the area and not specific to the hotel. The big pools more than make up for it, in my opinion. You even have a heated pool, which is quite perfect given the weather of this time of year. Food was one of the highlight of this trip. Even though the menu was limited, everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. Breakfast is not buffet, but the available options were ok. Lunch and dinner have the same menu. We didn't try room service. Now, to the specifics of the current circumstances. The hotel had people, though not too many people what would've made us uncomfortable. We were always able to maintain proper social distancing at all times. We were also avoiding indoor spaces whenever possible, so we were glad that they were able to bring us our lunch outside next to the pool. For dinner we used the outdoor area of the restaurant. But for breakfast, we did go inside, even though outside seating was also available. Each table was disinfected just after you arrived and they had a bottle of sanitizer on each table for you to use. Wearing masks was required in public spaces, but not when sunbathing or going to the pool. Temperature check was done only when we first arrived. All in all, I would highly recommend this hotel. We felt really safe during our stay, which is the highest priority these days.
Small hotel with beautiful attention and food
The Hilton Hotel in Paracas works like a clock, with all the personnel fulfilling their functions perfectly. We were very well received and given a room at 1 pm instead of at the scheduled 3 pm. The suite was big and comfy, but the promised kitchenette turned to be only a bar with a microwave, mini fridge and coffee maker. Dishes in the restaurant are delicious, but the assortment is limited, especially if you are staying several days. The pool is big and very well maintained. You cannot swim on the beach, as in most of the Paracas hotels, because of the rays. This hotel has habilitated an “ecological pool” on the beach, but it is very shallow and not very clean.
outstanding hotel in a beautiful location on the beach
This is another one of Hilton's top hotels--outstanding in every category/measure! It is a pleasure to arrive, as a group, at a hotel that clearly knows how to check in a group efficiently--it amazing how few hotels can do that! You would think that a hotel catering to groups would be able to streamline the process, but that clearly is not the case. I suggest that management of the "dumb hotels" take their group down here to learn how it is done properly. The location is incredible--right on the beach and just off the main highway. The structure is attractive both inside and outside. We had a very big two room suite with an entrance onto the courtyard. The size of the rooms make them ideal for families with children to take a vacation to a location where there is a lot to do and see. The rooms are quiet despite having a full house when we were there. There are a number of bars located in different areas of the hotel property--one for any type if setting desired. The breakfast buffet is excellent as is the restaurant for dinner--both in the same location. The service is fast and friendly. Checkout is a breeze! This is a great part of the world to visit. On this trip, we have achieve 7 "bucket list items" of which 3 we did not even have on our list upon arrival in Lima! A hotel like this simply makes the experience all the better!
nice venue, good food
Out of the way, it' s a 10 min drive from Paracas Cruz del Sur Bus terminal, and a long walk if you border the bay. Rooms are nice., Had an upgrade with view on the bay. The suite had a twin bed room, bathroom with tub, and living room with a sofa, and a work table. Also a microwave and a fridge (but nowhere to buy anything that fits in). And also a terrace. The sea (actually a bay) was full of jellyfish. On the beach there are some sport activities from the hotel like paddling, kayak and a tour in a catamaran sailing boat (weather permitting). The swimming pool is nice, but usually crowded. Breakfast is really rather poor and inefficiently managed for a Hilton Resort. Very limited, staff are not very efficient: e.g. one morning all dishes were just cold because they forgot to turn on the dish warmers. Lunch / dinner though is nice. Original or classic peruvian peruvian dishes, original cocktails. It is a nice venue to calm down, just have a swim, a drink at the pool bar, wander around, have a walk on the beach, etc. Ok for a couple of days (also since it is rather expensive). I suppose they organize trips to nearby attractions. There are some activities for kids.
Paracas Paradise
Beautiful Hotel in Paracas, south of Lima. One of the best options in this area. Very nice, comfortable, excellent service and wonderful activities included with your stay. The rooms are very spacious.
