Simply perfect!

We were debating on whether to stay in town (Paraty) or at Casa Mar. Well, very happy we decided to stay here. You get to stay in a quiet oasis, with personalized service, a beach and kayaks down stairs, amazing views..... and experiencing Paraty is just a 10 minute short drive away. Furthermore, the highlight of the area other than the colonial town is the boat rides to the incredible beaches, and you can do those from the hotel. The owners are on the premises most of the time (if not all the time) and they make sure that you have an amazing experience. Keep up the good work! I hope to be back one day.

Everything is incredible and perfect. Spaces, hospitality, view, food, kayaks, poo!, staff... Very comfortable, peaceful and gorgeous. We really enjoyed our stay. best place ever. Thanks Mauricio, and crew!

The best hotel in Paraty

I loved so much our stay in Casa Mar! The view is simply breath taking! You are immersed in the middle of the nature and also the room reflect the outside with its bamboo details! You can do different activities like kayak for example and that's included in the price of the stay! This is great! The breakfast was simple but so delicious and really well organized for the Covid measure, I found it very beautiful. I highly recommend this place for people that loves the sea like me, you can really sleep with the sound of sea!

Everything is just TOP. All the small details from the design to the hospitality of the owners and their staff. Could not recommend more, perfect location to visit Paraty and to relax. Thanks we can’t wait to come back again soon. Ah, Wi-Fi is very good and this helped me working from there during my stay.

An Oasis of Calm

We stayed here for the second time last week, and once again, Gustavo, Mauricio and their staff delivered! With a modern vibe, open concept deck/dining area, and an infinity pool with a gorgeous view of Praia Grande and the charming local boats anchored in the bay, Casa Mar is a great pousada removed from the hustle and bustle of the centro histórico of Paraty. They only have 8 suites here, so if you plan on booking, do so well in advance, as it always fills up. Worth noting that the Covid protocols are all in place; breakfast is served individually at your table (no buffet) and the staff is extremely attentive. Kudos to the honor bar, a feature not often found in Brazil. Keep up the good work, Casa Mar! We will return...
