Pousada Jardim Das Oliveiras

This is a place to go if you want have a feeling of how is to leave on an authentic Paraty house. The location is excelent and the owners really nice and helpful. It is a simple place, but very clean and breakfast very well prepared.

We loved our stay there. The staff was amazing including the lovely lady that served breakfast. The room was was well decorated and super comfortable and cleaned on a daily basis. The garden is just amazing . Breakfast was delicious! I highly recommend it if you want to stay in the historic center in Paraty.

We thoroughly enjoyed our five days here: thank you Carlos for the warm reception and all your help. The pousada is at the heart of old Paraty. We stayed in three different rooms (our poor planning!). They were all comfortable and it would be worth getting one of the larger rooms... the smallest one being a bit tight on space, which I guess is the consequence of the traditional layout of the building. The central courtyard has comfy chairs, hammocks when it is not raining, and is a very pleasant space in which to relax. We particularly enjoyed the flowers here. Breakfast was excellent. Finally, a quick mention for the best restaurant in Paraty, in our view. It has no TripAdvisor listing, but left out of the pousada and the restaurant is on the left, about twenty metres. Super friendly and excellent cooking.

What an incredible find this little pousada is. The owners are from Portugal, and have proudly brought a very friendly, mediterrian BnB feel to their little Paraty paradise. You feel very welcome here, like it's a home away from home. The location in the historic centre was second to none, the rooms were cozy, comfortable and clean with air conditioning and a good shower to boot, and the breakfast was the best we have had on our whole trip. I can't imagine there is a better pousada in Paraty. Thanks for a great stay!

I loved my stay in Pousada Jardim dos Oliveiras. The place is beautiful and feels like home, and is very well located in the beautiful historic center of Paraty. The rooms are very clean and beautifully designed, with a lot of thought on small details that make the place cozy and welcoming. Carlos and Manuela are wonderful hosts, and happy to help with anything you need. I even came back to Paraty and stayed there again, and it felt like returning home... and will definitely return again. A place to fall in love!
