Unforgettable!
We don’t often stay at B&Bs but I’m glad we didn’t give La Luna nel Pozzo a pass! It’s a little way off from the city center, which makes it a nice, quiet place to unwind. The air here is fresh, and there’s an open area out back to kick back and unwind over a light meal. Our hosts were so hospitable that it felt like home. Decor is old rustic charming, and definitely something to look out for. Extremely clean too - really well-maintained. We got a room on the top floor, which pretty much got us a private bathroom, 2 bedrooms with a king sized bed each. The beds were super comfortable - excellent mattresses - did not notice when my partner move. Hot running water meant we came home to a proper hot bath every evening. Breakfast is homemade, prepared freshly by our hosts, and the mini pizzas are to die for (I’m on a low carb diet and broke it because they were that good!) Being an old farmhouse, visitors will want to know this - 1. It’s far off from the city center enough that you’ll want to come and go in a rental car. 2. If you come in a rental, have a small suitcase with the stuff you’ll need for the stay or you’ll end up hauling a large suitcase up 3 floors. Nonetheless, this B&B is a must-stay if you’re ever in the area. It is a wonderful experience in and of itself, highly recommended!
Splendida
What a discovery. We stayed in the apartment with our two small kids and I would definitely come back. Enjoyed the space and kitchen is well equipped. The welcoming was friendly, very warm. A real home feeling. Close to parma center but you will need a car to move around.
One night in Parma
Parma isn't the most famous touristic place in Italy, most people think. But when you have been in la luna nel pozzo with Anna-Maria and Michele it will become a place, you won't forget! It's not a hotel or a hostel, its more like coming home to your family. This couple is the perfect example for hospitality. So lovely ❤️. An the property is unique, the family history of Anna-Maria has a tight connection with the house. And the Two love kids and they have 2 nice dogs .... La luna nel pozzo makes parma worth a visit - grazie mille e tanti cari saluti ... Barbara, Philippe e Liv
Parma visit
On our way back to home, we stayed at Anna- Marie B&B which turned out to be an unexpected excellent place for a stop. The rooms are very nicely decorated, beautiful house a bit outside Parma but therefore very quiet. By car, the city center is about 15-20 minutes away. Full breakfast outside with lots of homemade jam and bread. I certainly can recommend this place.
Our new preferred spot in Parma
We live abroad and go back to our hometown in central Italy few times a year by car. This is our new preferred pit-stop in our road trips: it's like passing by home before getting home. Authentic cosy family atmosphere in the beautiful Parma. It's also a perfect context to enjoy some of our favorite traditional food from the region. Thanks!!!
