Best budget hotel I have stayed
Opinión escrita el 11 de septiembre de 2022
Located 3 minutes form the beach, and 8 minutes to Bangla Road. Very quiet, friendly staff, big rooms and a good sized shower. The only hotel including a breakfast at this price. It was a basic breakfast, if you want more there are plenty of places to eat close by. Because of some noisy work during the day I was upgraded to a superior room above the reception. A very big comfortable room. In life you only get what you pay for and in my opinion you get more here. I have stayed in many cheap hotels during the last year and this was the best by far. NOTE This is a guest visitor friendly hotel.

Disgusting
Opinión escrita el 15 de febrero de 2020
When I checked in I knew it was trouble when the girl notified me that there was no elevator available for the economy rooms. We had to walk out the back of the hotel down a garbage strewn alley and walk up the flights of stairs. When we arrived at the room it was not the same room as on the website. This room was smaller than the one depicted in the picture on the website. I told her I was not happy and wanted the room I booked. She informed me that I would have to talk to the manager the next day. I told her I wanted to I switch rooms and I expected the manager to contact me. After two days I still had not heard from the manager. After I saw the SECOND rat in the alley i had to walk through to get to my room I decided to change hotels a day early.

Do NOT book an economy room
Opinión escrita el 8 de febrero de 2020
We stayed here for our last few days after travelling around Thailand for a month paying €25-€30 for each previous hotel stay per night & every single place was immaculate & modern & not a single fault... until we arrived at Armoni Patong Beach Hotel. After travelling back from Phi Phi in the afternoon we arrived to the hotel late enough at about 6pm and were told that the hotel was full and that we had to stay in a small room for the night and to speak to the manager in the morning to change rooms. We were brought out of the hotel down a little alley to a separate (very run down) building & we were gobsmacked at the room we were brought to on our first night. It was so small you could not walk around the bed and there was no room to open up our suitcase it was that compact. This was not the room we selected and paid €30 a night for. The following morning we asked to change room which was done so efficiently, in the same building unfortunately but in a bigger room (still extremely basic though). The curtains were hanging off the rail and broken so they couldn’t close properly but we were so happy to be out of the tiny room we didn’t complain... until our third morning when on the previous night our aircon started making extremely loud clicking noises and stopped working. The fan was directly above our bed and was not screwed on properly and looked as if it was going to come off the ceiling so we didn’t feel comfortable leaving it on over night. There is also a “balcony” in an economy room which you cannot step out on it is that tiny so it really shouldn’t be advertised. There is nowhere to hang beach towels or shower towels and no sockets or tables to charge phones near the bed. When we complained that the aircon had stopped working and the noise had caused us lack of sleep I thought they might move us to a better room since we had already been moved after the first night in a room that wasn’t even worth €10 but it was just fixed and nothing else was said. We had booked here for 4 nights very close to the beach & although it is in an excellent location I can honestly say it was the worst four nights & end to our time and experience in Thailand. The economy rooms are a disgrace & should not be priced above €20.
