Cold shower, rancid expired milk, black mold

I stayed at the Quality Inn Payson with my family on 01/15-01/16 2021. The room looked nice and appeared clean. That’s where the goon ended. My son took a shower that night and complained that the water barely got warm. I didn’t put much thought to it because he can exaggerate sometimes. The next morning, I took a shower around 8am and the water was Luke warm at best from the facet and by the time it hit your body from the shower head it was just plain cold!! As I tried to frantically finish my shower I noticed black mold on the ceiling above the tub. Needless to say, nobody else in the family wanted to take a shower. We got dressed and went to “breakfast”. All of the milk in the fridge had expired the day before. My son used a carton for his cereal and didn’t seem to have a problem. My carton however was sour. The desk attendant heard me complain to my wife and she brought out some different cartons that weren’t expired. She was very polite but the problems we experienced as a whole were poor management. I will not stay at this location again and this experience is making me second guess my “Choice Privilege” membership. Save yourself a bad experience and find another hotel.

Great night sleep

Great pillows. Overall a great night sleep. The breakfast was average continental; muffins, cereal, yogurt, and most important coffee, but wasn't there for that I would stay here again. Easy on and off the highway.

Stayed there for 4 nights. The price was reasonable and they allowed pets. They have an exercise room, laundry, pool, and meeting rooms. It looks like they served a hot breakfast. Due to the Corona virus all of that was closed but they did have items individually wrapped. The rooms were clean and the staff was friendly. I would recommend staying here when in Payson.

Best Port in a Storm!

Oh no! A Winter Storm Warning! We saw a massive snow storm coming and pulled over early. This hotel was so nice that we stayed an extra day! Indoor pool, lackluster weight room, but breakfast was excellent. Subway next door and fantastic pizza delivery. The breakfast room was open 24 hours with the coffee machine made by the cup. I was able to work in there while the family slept.

Excellent and friendly service. Rooms are clean and don't smell musty. AC was good. Pool water temp and hot tub were excellent. Easy on and off from the freeway but located so you couldn't hear the traffic.
