Merlindale Bed and Breakfast

My finace and I had booked into the Merlindale due to the close proximity to the small wedding we were attending at Yanns next door. We had to move the reservation forward a week due to a late change in wedding plans and the owners were very helpful and flexible. We were offered an early check in so that we could get ready for the wedding which was very helpful. The rooms were lovely, spacious and well decorated and our room had a spectaulor bathroom with walk in shower and free standing bath tube. Breakfast was served in the dining room in the morning where there was a great menu and lots of choice. Would highly recommend if you are staying in the Creiff area.

Visited with my girlfriend and right away we were taken with how gorgeous the the interior of the building is (smells lovely too!). Staying in the Bluebell suite, we enjoyed a comfortable nights sleep and a luxurious bathroom. Very clean, well organised and a beautiful modern decor. Complimentary shortbread and tablet too! (All homemade and delicious). Our fantastic hosts Paul and Helen(and they’re lovely little cockapoo, Louis) made sure we were satisfied and had everything we needed, letting us know that we can ask for assistance with anything, whether it be tips about the local area, or lending out a bottle opener. Had fruit, yoghurt(again, homemade!) to start with for breakfast, followed by a full Scottish breakfast which my vegetarian girlfriend was also able to enjoy as they used vegetarian substitutes. Everything was excellently presented and our hosts were very attentive, making sure we had everything we wanted. Could not recommend enough if you are travelling to Crieff or the Perthshire area. Will definitely be staying again in the future.

We had a little getaway at Paul and Helen's beautiful BnB, everything was absolutely fantastic. The room was big, comfy and the bathroom! Oh the bathroom, Just perfect. The host are very welcoming and helpful, the breakfast in the morning was absolutely delicious, the yogurt is homemade, the shortbread and tablets are too! The tablets are a traditionally made and they are honestly the best tablets I ever ate. Overall, we had the most amazing and relaxing time in a very looooong time. I can't recommend it enough. Bonus for meeting their doggy, such a bundle of joy!! Thank you again for the awesome time. L & B

Stayed for one night on a tour of Scotland and had a wonderful stay. Beautiful, well appointed room with a fabulous bath and shower. Lovely touches, such as wee dram. Helen and Paul couldn't have been more helpful and welcoming. And excellent breakfast!

Well as they say - when one door closes! Due to area restrictions our plans were changed at the last minute. With a little searching we found The Merlindale and what a find it was. Paul and Helen were amazing hosts in their beautiful house - to say they went the extra mile is an understatement. The lovely room was immaculate with lots of little extra to enhance our stay. Breakfast was fantastic 9.5/10 - lol had to take half a mark off for no potato scones 😉 Highly recommend a stay here We ate at the Hydro outside terrace, only a 10 min walk, which was really lovely too. Heading home very chilled out after our lovely one night stay in Crieff 😍 Thanks Paul and Helen - we will defo be back
