Can't recommend highly enough!
We've just returned from Agriturismo La Fonte and I can't recommend it highly enough. Marco and Paola are just lovely hosts and nothing is too much trouble - we had home baked cake and wine in the fridge on arrival, freshly made yoghurt every day and vegetables from their garden. The setting is beautiful - each balcony has panoramic views over the nearby hills, and our apartment (Il Noce) was beautifully decorated and immaculate. My two children loved it as much as I did for the salt water swimming pool, the dogs and horses, the ability to run free and safely in the surrounding olive groves and to swing in the hammocks overlooking the whole estate. Just the most perfect place to relax - whether you're a couple or family with kids. If you can do ask the family to cook for you one evening - the food was delicious!
Superb, just perfect.
It’s a huge property, with beautifully green surroundings, very cute apartment with barbecue and area outside to eat, great swimming pool. It’s a place for relax and enjoying life. Very comfortable, beautiful and cozy! The owning family is very helpful and nice! We want to come back soon!
Home away from home
We stayed at La Fonte Agriturismo end of last month and I would recommend the place to anyone who wants to be in marvelous surroundings, breathe fresh air and feels in touch with nature and himself. In the sweet, dreamy apartments which complement so much the majestic views you will have anything you need. You will immediately feel at home in the beautiful Umbria. Food is genuine and Marco is always ready to help you with anything you ask for.
Excellent agriturismo!
We stayed a week in apartment Il Noce with our 2 kids. We were a bit worried if it would be spacious enough, but it is definitely more than large enough and the sofa bed for the kids is very easy to fold out. But that's not all, the apartment is very nicely decorated, has a big terrace with beautiful views, and every day fresh eggs, homemade yoghurt, fruits and/or vegetables etc. The kids loved the dogs and enjoyed the huge garden, swimming pool and swings. The owners Marco and Paola were very friendly and we enjoyed the activities they organized, the live music performance and the cooking show and dinner. We had a great time here!!
What a gem!
We have been coming on holiday to Italy for the last 6 years. This is our first time in Umbria and the best place we’ve stayed yet. The setting is simply stunning in the heart of the Umbrian hills, Marco and Paola (and their staff) are great at making you feel at home, with home produce on your door step every morning. The cottages are finished to very high standard with breathtaking views of the hills around. Everything is maintained impeccably with lots of care and attention. Our children loved the fact they could just wonder around in the secure grounds, playing with the 4 very well behaved and sweet dogs, read in the hammocks or swim in the large pool. We will definitely come back again. What a special place!
