Run Down & Over Priced
Reviewed 18 april, 2022
Over priced as is usual in Phoenix, but there's no reason for the housekeeping staff to not report problems to the front desk for maintenance staff to fix. There was sticky epoxy all over the side of the tub and on the shower wall that will come off with a solvent. And the shower curtain rod was loose and hanging low so the curtain falls to the middle and won't stay up so water gets on the floor. It's amazing that something that is making a mess for housekeeping to clean is not addressed by maintenance.

Clean but rough
Reviewed 19 january, 2022
The girl at the front desk was very lovely and helpful but the place is rundown. I believe her name was Kaitlynn. Our first room, although it was clean, smelled heavily of marijuana. The elevator also heavily smelled like smoke. The girl at the front desk quickly moved us to another room. She even called to make sure that we were okay in the room. It was also clean but located on the first floor and there was a heavy presence of homeless people all day and night right outside our window. I know the hotel can’t help that but it makes it extremely hard to feel safe. The walls are thin so you can hear everything in the rooms next door. Having the tv on all night helped.

We had great stay at Comfort Inn. Room was clean and comfortable beds. Staff were friendly too. Good value for the price. Walking distance to Chipotle and Starbucks was good too. Outside area was okay as any other big city. Our family had good time.

Broken AC in June
Reviewed 8 july, 2020
We stayed here at the end of June when it was over 100 degrees outside. Got in late and assumed AC would work. Finally realized it wasn’t working but since it was the middle of the night we didn’t ask to change rooms as we were already in bed trying to sleep. Next morning we told them the AC was broken. They checked it and confirmed it wasn’t working. Manager was supposed to contact us regarding a refund. Not only did he not do that, I called two more times and he still refused to return calls. Do not spend your money on a place that has so little disregard for its customers.

Nice staff, but....
Reviewed 24 may, 2020
Our first room smelled like smoke, but the staff was very accommodating and changed our room immediately, encouraging us to let them know of we needed anything. The room, at first glance, appeared to be clean, but there stains on the clean comforters and a fresh food stain on one of them we didn't see untill the next morning. The pool is open 24 hours which is a bonus, but it was not asthetically pleasing. The furniture, decor by the pool and vegetation was sparse. Not a welcoming pool.
