Nice property with one major let down

Large rooms with well appointed rooms and kitchenette. Friendly staff. Staff was not always available. The biggest disappointment was the breakfast. Absolutely dismal as well as merger offerings. Plan on eating breakfast elsewhere.

The room was so nice, clean and comfortable. It was very close to the airport. The breakfast was great, it has been a while since I had a hotel waffle, it was delicious! The bed was super comfortable and I really liked the way the kitchenette was set up.

Excellent airport hotel

The hotel was clean and comfortable. You can make your own dinner in the kitchen or just enjoy the good room coffee and the Morning hot breakfast was excellent. The staff went out of their way to help us as we left my husbands shaving kit (with meds in it) in the hotel room. They put the kit in a box and put my FedEx label on it so it was delivered back to us at home a couple days later. Thank you to the staff.

Cleanliness Warning

After reading positive reviews, we reserved a total of six nights at this hotel (four nights for ourselves and two for an adult son). These visits were the week of February 14, 2022. To get right to the point, when we arrived late in the evening, the room that we were offered (330) had very stained carpeting, a huge rip in the sofa, and a strong scent of disinfectant, as if it was covering an odor. We were offered a move to 201 and although this room carpet was very strained, the helpful desk clerk explained that we had no other options as we required a king suite with pull out. Two days later when we went through the process of checking in for our adult son and his wife, I asked to see the room before their arrival. I was given room 230 and when I found the carpet stained, small bits of residue on the floor, and the couch stained, the desk clerk switched me to room 130. When I checked out 130 it was actually worse than 230. The clerk offered to have the airport shuttle driver sweep up 230 after he returned, however at that point I was so weary I went to 230 and picked up the residue on the floor myself so that I knew it'd be as presentable as possible for my son and daughter in law. The clerk voiced that I could talk to the manager when he was in on Friday. The second night of our son's stay in 230 they pulled the sofa bed out for our daughter and found old food and a fresh stain in the sofa bed. The desk clerk was helpful but had her hands tied as she seemed to be the only one working in this large, busy hotel. I had assumed that our original issue with the cleanliness was a one-time issue, however when I encountered the same situation preparing for our son's arrival, I did ask to speak with the manager. It was after hours and she told me I could talk to him the next day. When I did attempt to do so on 2/18/22 around 1000 hours, I was advised he had not arrived yet and unfortunately I had to leave the hotel for my day's commitments. The desk clerks were as helpful as they could be but they could only work with the rooms that they had to offer. This was a huge outlay of cash for very unsatisfactory rooms. I'd refer to my paper copy of my bill to tell you just how much it cost, however I was never offered one.

Visit with Old Friends

We were invited to Phoenix to visit w/ old friends from our high school / college days. We decided to book rooms at Homes2Suites which was close to our friends house. It was our first time staying there, we’re glad we did.
