This place is beautiful and the host was brilliant. Him and his two dogs made this a stay to remember with his homemade lemon cake, fantastic coffee and breakfast and his love of Pink Floyd and Jimi Hendrix! We stayed in a number of places across Italy and this little hidden gem was by far the best. I can’t reinforce this point enough..... stay here and you won’t be disappointed!!!

L'Isola is a small Bed and Breakfast on the North side of Lake Como. The lake itself is 5 minutes drive away. The location is very convenient as you have a close access to the main roads which will help you to discover the region. Still the B&B is very secluded. We stayed there with our family with 2 little children (8 months old). The owner is a great and was very helpful for us. The rooms are very clean and cosy. The garden is perfect for an evening of sitting and relaxing. Breakfasts are great especially the home made cakes that are part of them. We could recommend it for any family and for anyway who is looking for a great place to stay to discouver the region by car.

My husband & I, and my parents aged 75+ from Canada, stayed a week at L'Isola and loved this quiet and affordable stay. The rooms were super clean and linens changed daily. Breakfast was tasty and Didier (our gracious and funny French host) provided homemade bread and jam every morning with EXCELLENT coffee. He was happy to accommodate my parents who prefer coffee "americano" but my husband and I had multiple cappuccinos each morning... we could not resist! Didier also had many local sightseeing recommendations including the church in Tirano-- amazing! and also dining tips-- Osteria D'Benedet in nearby Colico was outstanding. For those those looking for a great location to serve as a base for visiting the northern parts of Lombardy from Lake Como to Bormio... this is an excellent choice! Stay here and spend your money for sightseeing and dining!

Bellissimo edificio di origine antica. Immerso nel verde offre veramente relax e tranquillità. Si trova praticamente sul sentiero Valtellina. Proprietari molto gentili e disponibili. Colazione ricca. Ottima posizione per chi come me era in vacanza in bicicletta.

Merci Didier! È stato bellissimo incontrarti e soggiornare, anche se solo per una notte, presso la tua struttura. Ristrutturata con garbo, attenzione e rispetto!
