Best way to visit Dollywood

Such an easy and enjoyable way to spend time at Dollywood. The trolley back and forth made it so easy and on site dining options took away hassle. Best part was my morning at the spa with my husband and son went to the park. Lisa and Parnelli at the spa were wonderful.
An amazing vacation at a world-class resort

Dollywood’s DreamMore Resort created an incredibly enjoyable home for our 3 night visit. Every aspect of this hotel was five-star, from the check-in to the room to the food service. Very friendly staff, spotlessly clean and comfortable room, and wonderful southern fare at meal time. The roller to the park itself was worth paying a little more, but the Christmas decorations and spirit of thokiday throughout the resort was an unexpected and treasured extra! This hotel is clearly managed by highly skilled people, and values are evident throughout the property and personnel.

We went on Thanksgiving day to go to the Dixie stampede show then dollywood on black Friday. Overall the hotel was BEAUTIFUL with all the Christmas decorations and the activities they have for the kids are wonderful. The shampoo in our room was empty so we had to use body wash. At dollywood our son wanted to ride the orange roller coaster (his favorite) but by the time we made it over there they had closed it because of the weather, it had gotten too cold. Subsequently, most all other rides closed because of the temperature and we did not know they did this so we missed out on a lot of rides and we had spent extra money so we all had time saver passes and didn't even get to use them. The restaurants also closed so there wasn't anywhere warm to wait on the firework show at 9:00.... so without being able to ride rides or go anywhere to wait we had to leave and my 5 year old son was really upset about that as well. We were aware of the forecast but didn't know things were going to close so my advice is make sure to plan to go on a day when the temperature doesn't fall into the 30s.
Good way to visit Dollywood

If you are visiting Dollywood then it is a great place to stay. Providing transportation to the park is a major feature. The restaurants are just average with a limited menu. This is what I would call a pricy hotel.
Very nice stay

My husband and I decided to do a driving trip to Dollywood for our 3rd anniversary. Neither of us had visited Dollywood, so we booked the DreamMore Resort and bought tickets for the park for the 1st Christmas weekend. We were very pleased with the Dollywood DreamMore Resort. First of all, the staff we encountered all were above and beyond. The front desk personnel greeted us with a smile and were responsive to our questions. Tammy and Jandice served us in the Song and Hearth restaurant and made our multiple visits very enjoyable. Abigail took great care of us in the bar area. We stayed at the hotel for 4 nights and she knew us after our first night. Everyone was very friendly and attentive. Our room was nice - a king bed with a pullout sofa (we didn't pull out). We had a little fridge as well. The room was exceptionally clean and the remote was even wrapped in plastic. We had a bonus -- our room had a perfect view of the Dollywood fireworks each night at 9pm! The resort is easy to navigate and has everything you would need - pool (indoor/outdoor), hot tub, spa, restaurant (make sure you book it in advance), game room, play ground, fire pit, etc. I likely would have been happy to just stay at the resort the whole visit! Everything was tastefully done and while the decorations at the hotel were in-progress, they were lovely. We enjoyed time having a glass of wine next to the fireplace and ordered a pizza from the pantry one night. I would not hesitate to recommend this resort. Well done.
