More about the hotel
Good apartments, nice swimming pools
The apartment has 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms (very handy when everyone is keen for a shower), kitchen and living room. Nice varanda with hammocks and a set of table and chairs. It is very close to the town centre, 10 minutes walk. It is not by the beach but boy very far from it. The rooms are cleaned every 3 days, you would pay extra if you want it cleaned daily. There is no restaurant but they offer nice breakfast from 18 to 30 reais. There is a lush greenery around the complex meaning there will be mosquitos, ants and creatures, aka lizards, around. It did not bother me. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I would definitely return to this hotel.
Hidden, but recommendable
Nice appartement, friendly staff and very quiet. Large breakfast available, we ended up with 2 breakfast to share for 3 people. Nice new bathroom, good veranda with hammocks. Everything we needed. A 5 minute walk to the main street with shops and restaurants.
So good
Pipa Park is awesome. Nice people and beautiful location. Perfect place to spend the vacation. Drinks, hammock, WiFi, short to the town center and surf spots. All you need. Spent 20 days, way to short.
a very good lodge with full equipped kitchen
I stayed in a 2 bedrooms apartment with 2 bathrooms (1 suite) and a full equipped kitchen (fridge, stove, blender, microwave, plates, pans, silverware, etc.). Beds were comfortable and each bedroom had its own air conditioned (which in that region it’s a must!!) There was also a balcony with a rounded table (breakfast was served here), 4 chairs and a hammock. This hotel does not have room service or restaurant, thus breakfast has to be scheduled because it is provided by a third party, it costs R$ 20 per person/per day and was very good actually (bread, cake, scrambled eggs, a local dish called “tapioca”, cheese, ham, coffee, milk, juice and some fruits). Swimming pool area was pleasant. There is a shallow part which is good for kids … by the way they also have a small playground for them. There are probably 2 downsides: 1) might be the fact they do not have room service which oblige you to cook your own dinner/lunch or go to a restaurant which is like 10 minutes walk with a couple of sloops on the way (but it does not apply to us because we were looking for such place due to our 2 year old). 2) They are not a front beach and as mentioned above, it is a 10 minutes walk with a couple of sloops.
Secret Garden
In the wall of the hotel garden behind the pool area there's a door. Going through it you enter in a larger garden with a archaic canopy structure in the middle. Every morning and every evening the hotel guests have access to wonderful yoga sessions held there. In the morning the birds were singing while the sun woke behind the trees and in after dark you could hear the crickets in the beautifully lit surroundings. Starting or closing the day - be it surfing, swimming with dolphins or building sand castles - with some stress relieving, body and mind vitalising exercise definately made my vacation.
