wonderful, clean, safe, hotel

The hotel is very clean with a beautiful room and bathroom. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There is self parking inside the same building for $30 a night and valet for $40. The hotel floors start on the 14th floor on up. I am very afraid of heights and didn't realize this when I booked. I was very uneasy about this but this is something that the hotel has no control of. The christmas decorations and music were beautiful. The hotel restaurant and bar are closed but they do have room service. The hotel is within walking distance of the benedum center.

Had a lovely experience staying at the Fairmont over the weekend. The staff was very kind and accommodating. The view was spectacular and we very much enjoyed the atmosphere. Also enjoyed the lovely room service breakfast!
Great location and quiet

We spent three nights here for a wedding. The rooms are large. I guess due to COVID there are no glasses or plastic cups in the room. I was able to get a couple of plastic cups from the gym. When we checked in we were not told that there would not be daily maid service. After the first day of a surprise I was able to get extra towels and knew to make the bed. The rooms were quiet and we slept well. The location is within walking distance of the baseball and football fields. Breakfast was included in our stay. The first day we got avocado toast, oatmeal, 1 orange juice, 1 grapefruit juice and a bottle of water and the bill was $85! The included breakfast covered $70. That is way excessive. Parking was $40 so we found a barge nearby for $8 a night. Face masks were available at the front desk. Few employees or guests worn a mask. Overall it was a pleasant stay.
Nice to be back, could be better

The hotel was well located, well appointed, clean. From a pandemic, it had signs for masks in elevators, for example, but none were enforced. Disappointed to see only some of the personnel wearing masks (including at the reception area).

Had to wait 2.5 hours after the agreed check in of 3pm. Got the room close to 6pm. Next morning breakfast was impossible to order as we had called the front desk and the room service line 4 times and no one picked up. No apologies were offered and was dismissed at the counter when I tried to notify the employee that something might be wrong with the phone. Tried even emailing them afterward and a week later still no response.
