Outside needs work room ok.

The outside needs a lot of work and a lot of cleaning. The stairwells were full of stuff and the pavement paint was all flaky and flakes were still there. There were many spill and gross spots on the walkway to the room. The room itself seemed average.

My wife and I were on the last leg of our 2 week vacation and decided to stop for the night and grab a room. The room wasn’t the cleanest and the toilet seat was a round seat on an elongated toilet, (made me laugh). We checked out in the early morning to beat traffic and about 40 miles away from the hotel, I realized I forgot my pillow in the room. I take my pillow with me due to it helps me with headaches I get in the night. I called the hotel immediately and the staff said they would ha e the manager call me, I offered to email them the shipping label and whatever extra costs it would cover. I’ve called them 6 times over 3 days to talk to the manager and nobody called. Now I ha e to try to find another pillow to help me sleep through the night. I do understand it was my fault for leaving the pillow there, but the manager could have at least called me.. Zero Customer service at this hotel. Go elsewhere.

We were traveling through for business, but it was an unexpected trip, so no planning for hotels long the way… anyway, this was the last stop in a long list of stops. We couldn’t get a pet room because Terre Haute had some pet convention of some sort, and Plainfield had some cat deal. Anyway, we got into our room, and it smelled funny. Everything was filthy. You would think that with “COVID” that places would be cleaner. This is not true for many places, but especially not here. The carpets were filthy, the shower was dirty- and much could not be removed. There was something dripping down the wall in the bathroom, the sink top was filthy as was the sink. I don’t think anything had been cleaned in some time, and it wasn’t just because it was old.I don’t see how this place is still open. Do NOT go here.
Safe rooms, great location, but do not expect clean rooms.

This is Motel in between multiple hotels and is reflected in the price. It has the bonus of being in a great location! The property is old and it shows it age. Expected stained carpets, dirty vents, and broken amenities. You are paying a discounted price for discounted rooms so set your expectations correctly.
Incorrect booking and dirty

I booked for a room with 2 beds and requested a rollaway bed too. The person taking my booking confirmed this. When I arrived they told me they don't have any rollaway beds. When I requested extra pillows they told me they don't have any extra pillows. The room was dirty, with something spilled on the bathroom floor and wall. Something else was stuck in the carpet between the beds. The blanket was ripped and had burn holes in it. When I asked about a different room I was told they didn't have any, and that I could stay or go but I'd be charged either way. I'll never stay at a day's inn again unless I can see the room before I give my credit card information.
