Not convenient for late arrivals. We requested a late arrival check in. We gave our ETA a week early and was told there would be no problem. Verified our arrival the day of. Received email 5 minutes before ETA stating our reservation had been canceled. After a lengthy discussion with front desk, a room was granted, but not good business.
THIS is breakfast?

Recently stayed here - room was just OK for 1 night, but don't expect ANYTHING for breakfast. This place shouldn't be allowed to say that they offer free breakfast - 1 bag per room!!!! Oh and by the way, that bag consisted of a small OJ, 2 small microwave sausage biscuits, a cheese danish and a yogurt. Try splitting that with 3 or 4 people. The young lady behind the desk said that we could discuss it with the owner when he got there, but we needed to get on the road...and now we also had to stop somewhere to get a real breakfast. I get that there are a lot of changes due to COVID, but this is ridiculous! Will never stay here again and don't recommend it to anyone else.
NO BREAKFAST!! CHEAP!!

We recently stayed at the Days Inn at 2101 Central Expr. Plano, TX over the Memorial Day weekend. We had stayed many times in other Days Inn and didn't think otherwise. One factor we enjoy is the "free breakfast" offered at Days Inn. We were told to pick up a sack breakfast the next morning. The next morning all three of our family members went down for breakfast to pick up our sack. We were told ONLY ONE BAG PER ROOM! We were told the excuse "because of Covid" So I asked "because of Covid, do we not eat"? Why would they even serve one bag if they were concerned about Covid? If that's the case, just don't put down that you serve free breakfast in your advertising. We would have selected another place to stay. This place is so cheap that they will deceive you by posting they have a "free breakfast" when they do NOT feed your party. I even put down that three of us would be staying that night when booking this room. So if a family of four were staying, you may think you would be able to take your kids down to quickly eat before going to Six Flags. WRONG! You would then be given one small sack (includes a cold mini microwave biscuit package, small danish, orange juice, and yogurt) to share with your family. This is deceitful to put on the website that they have free breakfast. We have eaten at other hotels that do NOT operate this way and they are trying to get away with it. I am in the process of calling the company with the complaint. The room was not really nice. They cut corners not taking care of the room and items did not work in the room. This was one of the worst places I have stayed. I highly recommend you not stay. It was not really expensive, but you could have spent the same amount and gone to a MUCH nicer place.
Don’t stay here.

Website said stated that there was a pool open and that they were serving breakfast to go. Neither are true. The front desk staff are not friendly at all, we received no greeting walking into the lobby. Not even a hello. All I got was registered, what name? The building is extremely old and run down. Everything looks ripped, scratched or broken. The room was ok, the air conditioner worked but it felt dirty and the shower had rust holes that looked to be painted over. While using the shower, a used razor from a previous guest. The wifi only worked on one device and the phone rang all through day and night for the front desk. We told the front desk about each issue: response was “internet should work” and “just take the phone off the ringer” I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, even if it was a free night stay.

Used Wyndham app like past to find reasonable accommodations in area. This one had several stars and good reviews. WRONG. Right off he was rude at check-in disputing my reservation. Room was pleasantly large but AC back vent was so noisy kept us up. Toilet grimy GROSS, sink backed up, and looked like blood on wall. Bed slept fine and TV worked fine. Free breakfast—no such thing and we weren’t told that at checkin so pissed we had to go elsewhere thru a drive thru and pay for it. We will never stay here again, and it makes me question if all Days Inn have become like this.
