This is an Italian managed Boutique Hotel, opened in 1997 conceived to pay homage to traditional Mexican design , reviewed through the respectfull eyes of a European architect and again, filtered year after year by a resident Mexican designer. It is situated in the Casco Viejo (the old town area where even Mayan ruins are still present among the first one level homes and restaurants dating late 70s) and the location is very convenient to every visitor who needs to get to the beaches, the pedestrian, even the ferry dock and the bus stations, but enjoys to spend the rest of the day in a safe and...More details

Worst Service in the whole 4 weeks in Mexico. No cleaning of the room and the service wasn't able to give us fresh towels in the evening after coming back from a tour. I saw towels in the office, but the service said he had to wait for a colleague in 2 hours. Ridiculous!
Great hotel and super friendly staff

We had a fantastic stay. The room was nice and clean, and the cleaning lady came by every day and tighten the room. The staff was super friendly and very helpful. The location was perfect in the middle of down town. Would stay here again for sure
Cute but SO SO SO SO SO SO SO LOUD

it is 4:30 in the morning and I haven't been able to sleep a wink because of how loud the karaoke bar is next door. It sounds like these terrible singers are literally IN my room. I can't even imagine having a child at this hotel. What an absolute nightmare of an experience trying to get ANY sleep. My room is really nice but I can not write enough how glad I am to have only have booked one night. This place is NOT for sleeping whatsoever. I feel bad that management receives bad reviews from a bar that is next door but this is BEYOND unacceptable.
Totally money worth

Stayed in the hotel for 3 nights. Clean and big rooms, great location, a walking distance from the pier to cozumel, the main street of playa and even a Walmart. Alberto from the front desk was great to us! Gave us wonderful tips and was very kind.
Close but not too close to the action

This Adobe style hotel is great. Friendly staff, Antonio helped us with everything. The hotel is a hop and skip to 5th ave and the beach, but it is far enough away to avoid loud music from Playa del Carmen in the early morning hours when you're trying to sleep.
