Wonderful stay
Wonderful place. The building is 500 years old. The view is gorgeous. The staff is always helping (especially Rosaria at the reception and Paola at the restaurant: you can ask them anything, they will do their best). The restaurant is very good. If you have the opportunity, book room 24 in the tower (Versace suite): astonishing view!
paradise on earth
Truly magnific stay at Villa Lecchi. We felt complete safe there in this bizar covid year. The staff is very friendly and helpfull and makes you feel like a king/ queen. The food is also prepared with love and of the highest quality! Grazie a tutti
Excellent stay
We loved our stay at Villa Lecchi! The view from the Villa (and even from our room and the pool) was stunning (wonderful sunset!), thanks to the friendly staff we felt very welcome, the breakfast outside was great (delicious croissants), we enjoyed relaxing at the pool and the dinner was lovely. The Villa was also well located; perfect to visit Chianti region and its villages, taste wine, and enjoy Tuscan food. We would definitely recommend this hotel :-)
Average hotel
Stunning views and absolute lovely view from the poolside. Close to Siena and Firenze, not far from the seaside and Pisa. Other than that, very average hotel. Service in the bar/restaurant not the best, quality of the dinner served not worth the 120€ that we've had to pay for a standard 3 course menu. Portions very small and flavorless. Breakfast very good, with fresh products from their own garden. Only thing I think could be improved would be that they would serve fresh juice with the breakfast. It would make the "fresh and local" experience complete. Room hasn't been cleaned for 3 days since we've arrived, after mentioning this to the reception, the room was supposed to be clean but still dust to be found everywhere, including dirty fingers on the windows. Unfortunately there wasn't really a proper solution for this issue. Reception said in their opinion the room was cleaned properly. Bed is good enough for a few nights, pillows comfortable. Air conditioner is probably too small for the size of the room, room temperature very high (28 degrees) and even after 3 days of "cooling" temperature didn't go below 27 degrees. Bathroom has a proper size, shower was good enough. After showering bathroom floor totally wet because of a leak somewhere. Water of the shower was warm, no possibility for hot or cold water, just warm. Overall, we don't think it's worth the 120€ a night we've paid for a 4 star hotel.
One word: Amazing
We stayed at Villa Lecchi for 5 nights and there is only one word I can think of to describe our stay: Amazing! The view of the rolling Tuscan hills from our room, the outside patio, and restaurant. Among the best Tuscan cuisine I’ve tasted during my many visits to the region, and super friendly and professional service by their staff and especially their waiter, Emiliano, who went out of his way to make our meals pleasant and unforgettable.
