A couple of negatives about this property..... we booked for 5 but there was no linen provided for the 5th person to use on the sofa bed. Sofa bed mattress protector was in a poor state and dirty so we removed it and used our picnic rug and beach towels as bedding for the 10 year old. I wiped down the dining table before we used it and it was very dirty. I've seen on another review that the explanation for the games room being dirty is that it is not fully enclosed, but it fails all round......no table tennis table as pictured on Trip advisor, tv only had SBS. When arriving at night or returning at night there is no driveway lighting. This would be inexpensive to install some solar lighting. On a positive note, cabins are spacious, the bedrooms and bathroom were clean, the pool was lovely.
Amazing and peaceful
Pictures don’t do the place justice. Lots of space, amazing family atmosphere. Dog friendly. Spacious, private and clean cabins. New linen. Extremely close to all wineries. Relaxing pool, BBQ’s and games room.
Quiet secluded and relaxing.
We stayed in Cottage 6 which was 4 spacious bedrooms with 2 king beds and 2 queen beds. Very clean , comfortable, neat and tidy. Fully equipped kitchen for dining in. Well located close to most all Wineries/restaurants and the Hunter Valley gardens. Very quiet tranquil bush surroundings. Peaceful happy stay for our family over 3 nights.
First Time Experience
First time staying in the Pokolbin, we chose to stay at Belford Cabins as it was walking distance to multiple wineries and a brewery. We were a party of 5 and stayed in Cabin 3 (2-bedroom), unfortunately we had a bedding issue upon arrival however options to rectify were quickly given and fixed. Cabin 3 was conveniently located next to the pool and games room. We had a comfortable stay and will definitely stay again in the near future!
Nice and close to the wineries for a weekend away
We stayed in number 6 for a weekend away with family. The location is close to the wineries and Hunter Expressway making it handy for family coming from different directions. The accommodation though dated was adequate with 4 bedrooms and enough space to spread out. Sadly the noise from cabin 5 was heard well into the early morning on both nights. Would stay again based on value for money and location. Luck of the draw with other guests
