Perfect weekend getaway
Beautiful landscape, very relaxing, welcoming staff. Great tours all at our doorstep. The resort had beautiful displays of local Aboriginal art all over and it was beautiful to see a resort celebrate and support local Aboriginal culture. Couldn’t have asked for a better escape.
Needs improvement
Stayed overnight, Food in restaurant was amazing however many flies in restaurant made eating difficult whilst swiping them away. Water pressure in shower was non existent and water temp was constantly changing from boiling hot (I jumped out because it scalded me) to freezing cold making a simple shower a difficult task. Was woken up by the room phone calling twice through the night with no one on the other end. Expected a quiet night away from kids and was disappointed by an early call wake up that wasn't requested and a shower that was both boiling and freezing. Not a relaxing experience. However the next morning there was a wine info session and tasting that almost made up for the lack of sleep and burns. Highly recommend the wine tasting. But maybe stay somewhere else.
Amazing night
The food was amazing and the service from Tristan and Luke was above above and beyond!! 10/10 would recommend, amazing time very climate control for the ac, it was quick and easy no stress at all thank you for the amazing night
Stay away during COVID they won’t refund
We booked here for after Christmas and had to cancel because of COVID . They told us they would refund the money if they rebooked the room . We checked their bookings and they were fully booked 2 days later and i rang and was told they were fully booked and would give a refund . Every time I have rung I am told I have to speak to the manager, who is apparently never there and now 6 weeks latter they are saying they won’t refund . This company is greedy and have kept the money even though they have been paid twice for the same room . They are profiting from people’s COVID misfortune . Beware don’t book here during COVID it’s a risk.
Vineyard & Wine School
Had a fantastic morning with Mr Terry as our host for the vineyard & wine school today—-his knowledge & history was outstanding (plus his humour)but not forgetting his amazing woodwork skills turning old wine barrels into candle holders —-these will be great reminder for a great weekend—Thank You to all involved & also to Eloise for her part yesterday
