Good for Partying, Bad for Sleeping

There are two ways to look at The Fox Hotel: 1) As an entertainment destination for a night out in Ponce. For this purpose, the hotel is great. The hotel has multiple food and vendor options, a beautiful patio area, and a really fun Pop Art lobby/common area. There was music both inside and outside of the hotel. It is a really fun place to take photographs as well. 2) As a Hotel. I cannot recommend this location unless you are in town to party and don't plan on trying to sleep until after 1am. Ponce has a fun night life and I am certain that there are people who would be totally fine with this. However, I cannot stress enough that attempting to sleep prior to 1am or 2am would actually be physically impossible. Also, I noticed that some of the amenities listed here on Trip Advisor, such as a microwave or wifi, were not present in the room we stayed in. There are also no windows in the rooms. The elevator is broken.

The hotel has so much potential, but it falls flat. The room had a very strong perfume smell that gave me a headache. The bed wasn't comfortable. The bathroom didn't seem clean. The walls and furniture have chips...it just wasn't comfortable. We didn't speak to many of the hotel staff, but the receptionist was nice. Wi-Fi wasn't available. I wouldn't go back again, unfortunately. The place is fun with all of the pop art and music, but it does need a makeover.

Go to visit, not for sleep

It is impossible to sleep with all the noise down in the lobby. Now it is 1:57 am and it will be just another night without resting. Come to visit, but don't stay. The hotel is nicely decorated and has great entertainment , but you will not have a good night rest if you stay here.

Not the greatest....

First off for a person who travels 80% of the year in the name brand hotels this by far is not a good place to come family friendly nothing no fridge in room no microwave hotel looks nice but could def use an upgrade and the special way to welcome your guest by saying keep the room key in a safe place because if you loose it there will be a $35 fee for the key really...Second thing shower sucked kept leaking water everywhere not coming back at all did not have wifi available eventhough it says wifi but im not sure where the wifi is maybe across the street but ehh def will stick to the bigger hotel brands. Thought I would try something different cause it looks very nice on instagram but im guessing those pictures are from when the hotel first opened. Does not look like the pictures. Food is great would def come back for the food if I ever stay on this side of the island but not to stay here for the price I paid I have had better.....Sorry TheFoxHotel you are def not a keeper or worth recommending.

The room we were in didn't suit our needs and they gladly moved us into a nicer room. Cool decor and fun atmosphere, especially for my kids. The manager was great to work with and met our needs. Thanks for a good stay.
