Dream wedding
La Dolce Vita, our perfect wedding took place here. Antico Fio has everything: 360 degree views of the Tuscan hills, the castle of Poppi and their own vineyard. Sara, her mother and the rest of their team have provided unforgettable days for my family and our guests. I am very grateful to them and also Tiziana (catering) and Nicola (flowers). Everything was right for our dream wedding! Lots of love, Mascha and Jorn
Awesome wedding location
Good local food, not too fancy. Great caterer available for events. Beautiful surroundings with views towards Poppi Castle. Unheated but fenced in swimming pool. Great little apartments, a bit dark though, stays cool in summer.
AMAZED!
April,2017, Was my second time visiting Antico Fio. The first time was in September 2016 . We went to visit the site because we where looking for a place to get married. When I arrived at Antico Fio I was in Ah! The second I walk out of the car to meet the owners they made us feel welcome and at home. Every corner that I look at there was beauty. To see the wonders of the greenery , the mountains, the wine yard ,the castle, I knew from that moment that this was the place. In April,2017 we decide to go back to finalize the details of our wedding that is taking place in September, 2017. We stayed two days and we where completely convinced at this point that we had made the best choice. Even thought there was clouds and a little rain here and there, It was magnificent. Need to mention how sweet and amazing and wonderful the owners are Simonetta and Sara. The second time Sara was not there but her mother Simonetta made us feel comfortable and at home. At this point I can't wait to go back in September and see them and live a week in that beautiful scenery and to finally feel the magic and live those moments with our family and friend and present them to Sara and Simonetta. A presto.
Wedding
We had our wedding here. A wonderful location, a beatutiful pool and lovely Tuscany-styled rooms. Everything was working properly, all was clean and tidy. The staff - especially simonetta and sara - are amazing. Thank you so much for everything. Alex.
Nice Agriturismo in a great setting!
We stayed for a week in the Camelia house at Antico Fio. The Agriturismo itself was very nice with a beautiful garden, a nice pool and a swing for the kids. The house was also very nice, perhaps a bit more plates, forks, knives and glasses would have been a good idea. But then again, with a dishwasher, who cares.... The owner welcomed us with two cold beers, a very 'warm' welcome! On the Agriturismo premises, there is also a space reserved for weddings. The owner told us that there was a wedding on the night we arrived, with some noise while the party lasted. On the one hand, this may sound disturbing, on the other it is better tolerate and think back of own festivities where having a good time is best combined with music, so again who cares. All in all, Antico Fio is a nice place and recommendable for sure. Make sure to visit Arezzo and Poppi and above all enjoy the pool and sunbeds!
