Really great little hotel !

Just spent 4 nights at this beautiful family hotel. One of my best hotel experiences ever. Friendly staff. Wonderful place with a little clean beach just across the street. Good kitchen. Private parking. Highly recommended. I will definitely come back one day.
Fab hotel - although a little remote

This was our 1st time in the south of France and this hotel was recommended to us. It is a fab family run hotel and the hosts are one of the most pleasant we have ever had and the rest of the staff are extremely friendly and helpful too. We had a sea view and it was stunning. There is a main road to cross to get to the beach but it ia worth it. Even though it is a busy road it calms down in the evening and you cannot hear the traffic once the doors are closed. The hotel gave us towels and a parasol to take to the beach foc which makes a nice change as most bigger hotels would charge for this. The room qas spacious and had air con which was great for me. We also brought the wrong adapter but again the hotel help us out and gave us one. We had dinner one night in the hotel and the food is amazing it is well above 3* standard. There is a good choice at breakfast and would definitely recommend the cheese omelette it is well worrh the extra. I would have liked tea/coffee facilities in the room or even a vending machine in reception so i could get a cuppa anytime. We did not drive as being from the uk we drive on the left and in France as most other places they drive on the right and although i have done it a couple of times before i didn't like it. Also im on holiday so i like a few wines. We decided to go for a little nosy and if you come out of the hotel and go right after about 15 minutes walk you will come to a wee shop and an italian restaurant but that's about it. We did get a taxi into st. Aygulf one day and that was a good day but trying to get a taxi back was a nightmare. I would have no problem recommending this hotel but i would also say if you want to explore you definitely need a car. I would love to go back as it was lovely but the public transport/taxi services would need to improve.
A little gem on the coast

Situated on the coast road overlooking a small Cove, out of the village but close enough to St.Aygulf, spotlessly clean, well-run by the interactive and engaging host-owners, we loved our stay there. Our garden -side family room was quiet and spacious (rooms with a sea-view overlook the sometimes noisy road) with a good quality comfortable mattress. Breakfast on the terrace or if windy inside the bright and airy dining room with walls dripping with paintings and photos of ships and the sea was a huge affair, and you can dine there in the evenings if you book. Alain's menu is simple and well-executed, a whole sea bass was roasted perfectly and prices were reasonable.
Perfect beachside hotel

We were very pleased with our stay at the Hotel Cap Riviera - it was exactly what we were looking for. It's located right across the street from a wonderful, somewhat sheltered little beach that was never crowded while we were there. The hotel itself was very clean and nicely kept-up, with a very pleasant little courtyard and a dining area overlooking the Mediterranean out in front. We had a nice dinner there one night; nothing spectacular but good food and a beautiful view. Parking was a bit tight but we never had trouble finding a spot. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. And to top it all off, it was a very good value. The next time we're in the area we'll definitely be staying here!
Perfect in every way

We stayed here after doing the touristy bit in Paris and it was absolutely amazing. The staff and owners were very nice and accommodating. The room was a family suite so worked perfect for us. The view from our room was priceless. There is a beach just across the road and they have beach accessories for anyone that wants. The owner cooks dinner every night and the food is stellar. We stayed in some top notch hotels on this trip; real 5 star hotels and my kids say that this place was by far their favorite.
