We booked this lodge for three nights. We read reviews online and decided to book something more authentic than a large hotel, as the prices were comparable. This lodge is definitely not 4 stars. I found the rooms very basic. The pool was in a very sad state and there we two very uncomfortable looking sun loungers! You definitely could not spend anytime relaxing by it. The staff were very pleasant, although their English was limited. The lodge is a good 20 minute walk to town, although taxis’s are cheap (around 200 pesos). We were so disappointed that we cancelled our booking, after looking around the lodge and our room (paying the $150 cancellation charge) and re booked another hotel in town.

I was pleased with our choice of accommodation. Very private, large rooms, great verandah looking into the jungle. Shower was fabulous and large comfy bed. Wifi good in lobby, weak in our room which was the furtherest away. Well stocked fridge reasonable prices, kettle and air on. Breakfast included, limited choice, lots of sweet things. Some nice fresh fruit. My husband has Coeliac disease so took his own corn crackers with him, also cheese and ham provided. We had a fabulous taxi driver Patcho, ask for him, he is well known in Town, nothing was too much trouble. We did not pay him until the end of our time there, it was like having a friend, he made our stay. We did not eat dinner in the hotel as the choice was very limited. Had a fabulous meal in town Acqua -very good. 5 -10 mins by cab into town, remember they have siesta. Town wakes up at night. 30 mins to Iguazu. Had a whole day at the falls which was enough for us.

We loved our little home in the jungle. We had our own little private cabin with a deck with air conditioning. Nice outdoor pool too. The food was mediocre both for breakfast and dinner. There are much better restaurants in Puerto Iguazu. Also it is necessary to taxi to go anywhere from the lodge.
Very peaceful location

Very quite and peaceful location. Rooms were spacious with enough amenities. Jesy at the front desk was amazing, smiling all the time as we walked past, making sure we didnt need anything. Accommodated our dietary requirements with no hesitation. She is an asset to this establishment
Cannot end this review without mentioning our Taxi driver Alberto who was arranged by Jesy. We were there for 2.5 days and he drove us back and forth to the falls and the super market. My kids were so comfortable with him, we left with tears.
To Hotel owner: Change the staff or die

Nice location, nice facilities, BUT NO SERVICE, NO ENGLISH, NEVER EVEN BY ACCIDENT STAY THERE. Lousy breakfast for diabetic, can not order anything.
The staff seems to be happier without the customers. No single word in English in reception, needed a friendly English speaking taxi driver to to communicate the Hotel!
Owner wake up, the hotel will die if staff not changed!
Wifi originally only in lobby, after long fight Wifi suddenly was available.
