Clean and friendly, would love to have more grab and go options for breakfast, hard boiled eggs and fresh fruit.Clean, comfortable and spacious room, well appointed for convenience. Friendly, helpful staff.

In Feb 2021 I called the Wydham reservation line and requested a reservation for a La Quinta in Mississippi. When I did not receive a confirmation, I contacted that La Quinta and was told no reservation had been made yet my credit card had been charged. In researching the charge, I found it had been initiated by this La Quinta in Portland, Oregan as a no-show under a last name which was not mine. I contacted this La Quinta and explained to an individual who identified herself as a manager that I had not made this reservation and requested a refund. She stated she would call me back. She did not. Filed complaint with credit card company. They received response from this La Quinta which included false information. Filed complaint with Better Business Bureau who contacted this La Quinta numerous times without a response from them. I hope this management is proud of their ability to scam a military retiree. Please note I was required to choose a what sort of trip and when did you travel. I did not travel there.

The hotel was easy to find and not far from downtown Portland. The staff and service was excellent. I just with the curtains were able to fully close during the night. Besides that, an excellent/budget place to stay, enjoy!

Stayed there for 32 days. Staff was great. Rooms were clean and nice. I felt very safe being there. Love that they allow pets. I met some very friendly and loveable puppers that made the stay that much more enjoyable. I also am glad they have a hospital discount. It really helped.

Unclean room not cleaned even after asking.

Our room had a used tissue on the floor by the bef. We noticed our first morning, it’s not ours. So clearly room wasn’t well cleaned. We put our maid service sign up and when we returned at 2 it wasn’t clean, so I went to the desk, explained and told them I expected it cleaned, at this point wasn’t upset I just wanted it fixed. We returned at 6 and room is still dirt and front desk will do nothing but say sorry and talk to manager in the am. We’re spending $250 to sleep in an uncleaned room they apparently refuse to clean. Now I plan to contest my hotel charges, this is BS in a pandemic to accept a dirty room.
