Fantastic Place to Stay!
I can´t recommend staying here highly enough. This is mainly because of the host, Luis. He went out of his way to make my stay as pleasant as possible. All of the people I stayed with in the 6 days I was there felt the same way. It is a family run operation and is completely safe and run by trustworthy people. It´s a little confusing how to get there initially. Where the aiport bus drops you off, turn around and go back two or three streets to find the street it´s on. Porto De Galinhas is quite small and so it´s easy to get to the main areas from Toca do Coelho and it´s right near the return bus stop to the Recife airport (5 min walk). The fresh breakfast was terrific especially as eggs are made on request to go with the fruits, lunchmeat, cheese, and rolls. The coffee is quite good too. I would certainly stay here again if I returned to Porto de Galinhas.
Great find with unbelievably friendly hosts and guests
Such a great place, the room was a little basic but for the price it was brilliant. The hosts couldn't have been more helpful and a great mix of people due to having dorms and private rooms. Would highly recommend.

It´s a very nice place, I would stay again without a doubt Very clean and peaceful close to city center and the beach. Good accomodations and a great breakfast served fresh Friendly staff and Luis treated me like a family member.
Home away from home
I stayed for about 9 nights at Hostel Toca do Coelho because its friendly staff and environment made me feel at home. I had been travelling for some months in south america and Toca do Coelho in Porto de Galinhas was a perfect spot to relax before hitting the roads again. Their location is great, I would say 3-5 minute walk to the beach, and 7-10 minute walk to "downtown" (main turistic area). Breakfast, or as they call it "Cafe de la Manana" is amazing.... Fruit, sandwiches, eggs, breads, juices, coffee, tapioca, etc.... I would rate this hostel 5 stars...

great place, Luis treated me like a family member, I would stay again without a doubt, great breakfast served fresh, very clean and peaceful close to shopping restaurants and the beach is with in walking distance
