More about the hotel
Excellent!
Great place to relax! Nice swimming pool, lots of activities for kids and adults! The place is connected to the beach, so you can be on the swimming pool and a few steps from the beach! Binho Neris’ dance class at the swimming pool is the best! He keeps everyone dancing with nice music. They have an awesome crew to help with the activities. Another awesome guy is JP who’s always in a good mood playing with everyone! Another great person is Taiane who’s always serving everyone on the pool, cheering, talking, being nice to ever! She’s awesome!
Good resort, but need renovations
A good place to go with family, the best is the location and the staff. The hotel is 5 minutes from Porto Seguro by ferry and 10 minutes from Downtown by car. The place is very clean, is safe. The price is high, the room mostly missed a microwave. The "half-boards system" works well it's not all-inclusive.
A little overrated
We spent 1 week vacation in July which was a bad pick to start off as the weather was awful. The indoor activity is weak, the heated pools are small, the non-heated pool is not large either. The property is not too large which is an advantage but in general it's overrated. The boat transfer between hotel and Porto Seguro works fine and timely. The family room is also fine, especially the bathroom which is not fancy but big and very functional. The beach is just beside a river so water is not clear. If ever going back to this destination Club Med will be the pick. To international travelers: the staff do not speak English. The restaurant is good but drinking is a pain - it takes forever and a lot of paperwork to sign.
Nobody in this hotel speaks english not even the front desk
Everything in this hotel is run down. The play-structures are not safe for kids. The top of the swings are loose. The plastic structure is loosen and not properly installed. Seesaws are broken. The heated pools are full of chloride and something organic is swimming on top of the water. Our guess is that the water doesn't get filtered. The sand shore is full of coral stone and it cuts your feet make sure if you choose this hotel to bring water shoes. If you don't have water shoes just don't worry there are sandals swimming in the water. I had cut on my toe and I approached the reception to get a bandage. The first person didn't speak english and the second person was talking to his friend and I tried to approach him and he completely ignored me. If you have an injury in this hotel I am sure they will ignore and not help you. Every standard hotel has a coffee maker this hotel doesn't offer that. The is a couch with pillows and the pillows smell like mold. The buffet is mediocre. The people who are supposed to make omelette or steaks don't speak english. Once I ordered an omelette and the lady gave me a burned omelette. Second time we ordered some food and the person left and didn't come back for 30 minutes. There is also always a huge line for grilled item so make sure you bring time and stand in line for a long time. The pool is busy at night and I you are looking for the good night sleep don't get an ocean facing room. I would not recommend this hotel for any families.
No safety in this resort
We are a family that lives in Europe and coming to Brazil with 2 kids safety is number one for us. On December 30th our second day in the hotel we were relaxing in our balcony at 18:45 when this scary man walked into our balcony scaring us and forcely asking to enter our room. It was a terrible incident and all the hotel only was able to tell me is that he entered by the low river and no security saw him. Very bad security in this Resort!
