Having checked-in to the property, paid the property tax, paid for breakfast the next day, I was subsequently informed that as I’d undertaken some trekking on the island of Corsica, I could not take my bag to my room due to the “risk of it being infected with bed bugs”. I was told I could only take a very small plastic bag of clothes and the rest of my luggage would need to remain downstairs next to reception in a tiny room where the left-luggage was. Not only was this completely impractical (I was leaving early the next day after 3-weeks on the island and needed to carefully pack my bags ready for multiple flights early the next morning), but it was also actually unfair of the hotel to only inform me about this “restriction” after I’d checked in. I voiced my dissatisfaction with the situation to the hotel manager and he offered to cancel the entire booking without charge. I then went to stay down the road at the Tilbury Hotel where no such restrictions existed. In fact, no such restrictions existed anywhere else on the island during my 3-week stay despite the owner trying to claim it was “standard policy”. Imagine my surprise when the hotel then fully charged me! I’ve since contacted them on numerous occasions to demand a full refund and thus far they’ve only offered 50%. This, of course, is completely unacceptable as I shouldn’t have been charged in the first place. They're now ignoring all my messages asking them to explain their actions.

Well located hotel, not far from bars, restaurants and cafes. Hotel has been renovated with clean, comfortable rooms. Can be a bit noisy from street. Friendly staff and good breakfast for the amount we had. Someone had been sick on a carpet in the corridor, which had not been cleaned, We booked a room with breakfast but were told we only paid for an express breakfast, which was limited. Cost for shuttle exorbitant. Not value for money.
Easy and well priced

We stayed for only two nights and now looking back should have spent more time in Corsica. The rooms are quite nice, simple, but with lots of space for opening up suitcases, etc, was not tripping over my things - the toiletries were high end products. The receptionist was very helpful with needs for our room, and also local suggestions. Easy hotel that is well priced.
Nice hotel for reasonable price

A nice hotel, conveniently located in Porto Vecchio. Restaurants, dining and sight seeing is within a short walking distance. Room was comfortable and clean. I felt perfectly safe as a solo traveler. Room has water kettle and complementary tea/coffe.
Good location, small rooms, expensive

Staff was friendly, the location is perfect to visit town at a very close walking distance to the center/citadel with shops, restaurants and bars. Parking is a bit of a pain around the hotel, only a limited amount of parkind spots are available at the hotel (for 10euros per day). You'll need a car to get around or to the beach. As for the room, for the high price we really expected a bit more. The fotos of the rooms look nice, and even if we got the same furniture as on the fotos in ours, it felt like we got a tiny dark room. The mattress was really bad and should've been replaced long ago. The room was facing the front onto a street that is rather noisy all night long (yea the traffic calms down, but occasional motorcyclists seem to like to roar their motor just as they drive up to the corner there) so we didn't get much sleep. We felt like for what we got, the hotel was really overpriced, we wouldn't have stayed there if we had known we'd get the room we stayed in. Yea, it was high season but we stayed in much nicer places for less. Anyway, maybe we were just unlucky with the room, might be that others are better. Can recommend for a short stay in off season when the rooms are more reasonably priced.
