Great hotel, good location and value for money. Staff were excellent with great service. Food and facilities were of fantastic quality and the design of the hotel is magnificent. A great base for a trip to Porto.

Magnificent 2-night stay at the heart of Porto

Wonderful hotel, very good facilities and general atmosphere. Indoor pool was very pleasant, and so was the sauna. Staff were very welcoming and our needs were met for the entire duration of our stay. Location is also incredible, you are essentially 5 minutes away from the tourist center of Porto, and yet, you are in a very calm street, away from the masses, making this a very calm environment where we slept very well. Overall, highly recommended and we will return again.

Great design matched by good service. Location on the edge of the center, but still close enough to everything. Restaurant was surprisingly good for hotel one, and the pool is a must. Convenient parking in the building if you have a car.

The Hotel is very nice, very comfortable and the personal is very helpful. The breakfast was delicious. The room was excellent and we got it for a very reasonable price. Big, clean and comfy. We wish we had stay a couple more days.

Weekend stay at Bessa Baixa in Porto

Enjoyed the stay at this hotel overall with a the Deluxe room with a Terrace. We didn't use the pool or spa, but did enjoy the bar, restaurant and breakfast. Place is close to some shopping malls and walking distances to most of old Porto scenic areas. Only minor complaint is this flush setup in the washroom as it can be a hard task for females with finger nails to push the metal button to flush (bad design).
