La Rosa Dei Venti

We stayed 4 nights in Positano and couldn't have been happier with the location. The hotel itself is located closer to the road in Positano, which made it easier to get to initially. The trade-off is that the beach is a little bit further of a hike and a steeper climb to get back up to. We loved being on the Fornillo side though because it's a little bit quieter than the main beach in Positano. The room was very tidy, spacious, and had a great view of the ocean. Each morning included a complimentary breakfast delivered to the room, which had a balcony for picture perfect views each morning.

We are nearing the end of our 4 day stay in beautiful Positano staying at a lovely quiet Pensione about 15 minutes walk from the centre of Positano. We opted to be out of the tourist centre and we have been pleasantly surprised by the service and accommodation at La Rosa Dei Viente in Via Fornillo Our very neat and clean room has a balcony overlooking the ocean and breakfast is served each morning on our private balcony. There are about 250 steps down to the beach but a more leisurely option is to wander down into the town along the gentle gradient of the roadway The walk back up is equally pleasant. I would certainly come to visit again and stay here. There are also many restaurants very close by so you don’t have to walk into the town if you do not wish to. 10 out of 10 for this beautiful spot !!

What a lovely place to stay. Had no trouble finding the parking garage recommended and it was a short walk to hotel. The staff was great even though we arrived early. Our room was very nice with a large bathroom and the most beautiful large balcony with a table and chairs and lounge chair. Pots of flowers framed a stunning view. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast more than adequate served in our room. Great way to start a morning. When we left the staff took our luggage up the stairs to the garage. We wish we had stayed here longer and would highly recommend a stay here. It was nicer than some higher starred hotels that we have stayed at.

Excellent view. Lovely balcony, Comfortable beds. Very clean, large room. Continental breakfast is included and served to your room. It is a very old town and the steps are hard on us older people. It would have been nice if they had some assistance with luggage. That is my only complaint.

This is a cute little hotel where each room as a roomy private terrace and sea view. Large room, entry room and bath. Really comfortable beds and located on the more north end away from the hustle and bustle but walking distance to the main street, bus stops, not far to beach (just lots of steps - it is Positano! Lots of steps everywhere). Wonderful shower pressure (my husband is really into that). Really pleasant and helpful staff and a delightful little breakfast brought to our terrace each morning. Furnishings not the most up-to-date but the room was extremely clean and comfortable nonetheless.
