Greatest hotel in Prague

Reviewed 16 august, 2019

Perfect example of a five star hotel. We stayed at the luxurious suite, (Room 401) and had an amazing visit. Can really recommend both the couple massage and the roman bath. Both were indeed very delightful and exceeded our expectations. All staff members were very service minded but Honza was the nicest dude we've met in Prague, he went the extra mile and helped us with all of our requests. Such a great lad!

Nice hotel with good service

A werry nice and cosy hotel with a exellent sevice from the staff. The location is good and you can easely walk to most of Prag bigger attractions. The junior svit was nice but no good view, but that not a big problem. Can recomend this hotel.

Marvellous!

We had an apartment that actually was three rooms and two very large bathrooms with jacuzzi in both. The design of the bathrooms was stunning, it had stone-walls accompanied with beautiful tiles and marble. Breakfast was very good with lots of choises and fresh fruites. We will defenitively return!

Mixed experience

I studied the reviews of comparable hotels for our 4 night Prague stay and chose these apartments on the basis of other reviews but I have to say I left disappointed by some aspects of our stay. The location is superb. Couldn't be better. For the river. The castle. And metro. (Take the tram 22 to both ends of the line for a great Prague tour). The staff also could not be faulted. They were gracious and understanding and listened to my reservations. Our one bedroom studio apartment across the road from the hotel was jaded and in desperate need of renovation. The decor, fixtures, pillows, bathroom and lack of electric plugs makes the whole thing feel like 1980. In addition, and I don't think through any fault of their own, there were some major works being undertaken outside our bedroom window. Every morning at 8am the shouting workmen would wake us up. On Friday a pneumatic drill was constant from 0830 to 1030. Not a word of apology or acknowledgement though which would have made all the difference. There are no safes in the rooms. When I rang reception and asked she suggested I brought our laptop, iPads, phones, passports and money to be hotel safe whenever we went out! I was incredulous at this suggestion for 2017. The breakfast was excellent and we used the hotel car for our airport transfer. But this is not Luxury. It's tottering on being just acceptable.

A lovely stay!

We stayed in the studio apartments for a week and found it an overall very pleasant experience. We were greeted with a welcome drink and had our bags taken up to the room, making us feel very pampered! The room was lovely with a very handy kitchenette, very comfortable bed and excellent shower. Our room also had a jacuzzi bathtub which was a lovely treat and very relaxing after long days of walking. We had use of the hotel for breakfast and free use of the spa until 12pm each day. The breakfasts were delicious with a wide range of food available. We booked a couples massage in the spa which was excellent and extremely relaxing. One tip in hindsight if you are thinking of booking a treatment is to perhaps book when the free use of the spa has finished as there was a large group using the spa who were a bit noisy during our massage, but overall this did not take away from the excellent experience. The only negative experience we had throughout the week was with one of the bar staff who came across as a bit rude and stated he could only make specific cocktails as it was too busy, when he didn't appear very busy at all. However our overall experience from all staff was that they were extremely polite, friendly and helpful. The guest relation staff were particularly helpful to us at several times during the week with airport transfers, tour bookings and dinner reservations. So overall I would highly recommend staying here!
