I stayed at Karoo Cottages for two nights in January 2023. I had a great experience there. My cottage was large, well appointed with lovely personal touches. I was doing a solo motor cycle trip in South Africa and had been referred to Howard as he is an experienced rider who enjoys riding. Howard's advise to me and hospitality was first class. He is a interesting and urbane man. My time with him was enjoyable and I fully recommend that guests utilise these characteristics of his to optimise any trip to the Karoo. I travel allot, this place have all the small detail to make it comfortable and different. amazing accomadation, 5 star and such a pleasant owner..our group were super impressed. awesome base to go ride adventure bikes..

Cottages are perfectly equipped for self catering stay. Family friendly and beautifully clean! We spent most of our time in the Wood Fired Hot Tub/pool. Our third visit and will visit again. Thank you!

The cottages are well appointed for self catering. Had we know that, we would most certainly braaied in the facilities provided. The supply of filter coffee, milk, tee, fruit juice, cereal and yoghourt for breakfast was top class. We look forward to our next Visit to Prince Albert and Karoo View Cottages.

Karoo View Cottages are true to the sales pitch - a very special view of the hills in the valley, beautifully lit during both sunrise and sunset. The cottage itself was very well appointed and had everything we needed. The bed was extremely comfortable. The service was wonderful. The communication with Howard was excellent - lots of advice on where to eat, information on how to "operate" the cottage. I would thoroughly recommend this spot to anybody wanting to stay in Prince Albert.
