Check in on Friday night of Labor Day weekend. Only the front desk clerk working that night. Once I got to the room I noticed how dirty it was. Then after I unpacked, I noticed that a lamp was broken and that the TV did not work. I called the front desk and was told the only thing they could do for me was to move me or I could wait till the next day and the maintenance man would come fix it. Since I had already unpacked, I reluctantly agreed to wait for the next day. Maintenance came and could not fix it. He left and said he would come back with another TV. After waiting an hour I called the front desk; they told me that it was against their policy to move TVs. I went down to the front desk to call the supervisor since there was no Management on site. Talking with her was very disappointing. She was very unpleasant, unprofessional and patronizing. My issue was not resolved satisfactory. I was booked for one more night and and I did so with a non working television. I believe a working television is the minimal you should expect in a hotel stay. There are many hotels/motels available in this area. You should save yourself the aggravation and stay in one of those.

Very nice stay. Room was good. One minor issue with the fridge. In the middle of nowhere. Nice stay over all. Breakfast was ok but the front desk person apparently did not know how to turn on the juice machine and where the sugar was located. The bed and pillows were super comfy.

Before I was taken to this hotel I went to two other run down questionable inns. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. I was ready to leave Virginia before attending the service I came for. However after walking through the doors and staying the night at the Baymont, I had hope for Virginia again. I look forward to returning to this particular establishment.

This is great hotel to stay. The staff is very polite and very informative of surrounding areas and situation. I must give thanks to elly at the front desk she is very sweet lady and very pleasant and the manager is very nice and understanding and still making guest feel comfortable and safe while going through this covid19. The house keeping staff is great also taking the extra step to ensure the safety of everyone putting the guest safely first. Over all I will always stay at thia location is would recommend this location to anyone anytime because they will alsways go above and beyond.
