Nice hotel with comfortable beds
We had a one night stay in this hotel. Everything was nice and tidy. The car could be parked safely in the garden. We slept very good, the bed was comfortable and the neighbourhood was very quiet. I would stay here again!
A Bit Meh
Not terrible, but not great. A bit run down. The shower was tiny and barely worked which was annoying. For some reason they shut the pool all day (until 5pm) which is very strange. Why do they advertise having a pool if you can’t use it?! When it is open there is no lifeguard or anything so it doesn’t make much sense.
Traditional
We used this hotel as an overnight stay on our drive back from Spain. It’s very “traditional” in a lovely quaint village. The hotel had on site parking and is easy strolling distance into the village. The hotel itself is a little bit dated and could do with a bit of refurbishment and we had to share the toilet with the rest of the rooms on our floor which we weren’t aware of on booking. The bed was comfortable albeit a bit on the small side. The room was clean enough but again could do with some attention to detail. There is a small plunge pool with a few loungers and a small courtyard at the front. One big negative .... no bar, so take your own beers. The staff were nice and friendly and informative. Breakfast wasn’t great. Just croissants and a third of a baguette with an assortment of jams and yogurts. They did have English tea though and the room had a kettle and tea making facilities which is unusual for France. Overall, it’s great for a couple of nights but I wouldn’t want to stay much longer than that.
Perfect!
Excellent hotel with a mini pool. Perfect at the end of a long day. Super breakfast. Helpful staff. Would stay here again - very good value for money. Set away from station so no noise, but it is only walking distance.
Very Clean and good location if you want to travel by train
Very good value for money. Good location, Tarascon is a lovely sleepy town with the SNCF Station Just a short walk through the viaduct to Avignon, Montpellier, Nimes, Arles and more. Perfect if you don't want to drive everywhere. Lots of Parking, and quiet at night. Very clean, and overall furnishing reasonably comfortable. I think rooms in the main building have air con which you definitely need, but the apartments on the ground floor round the courtyard do not, so beware!! We had a groundfloor apartment, but to our dismay when we got there it did not have air conditioning. Two large fans, but with 38degrees they weren't enough at all. It was swelteringly hot in the apartment for the whole week, and if you opened the windows flies swarmed in. Probably due to the bushes just outside and the fact that the sun set on that side making it so hot at night. The apartment itself was beautifully clean, but weirdly laid out with the toilet in the wardrobe at one end and the shower in the middle between the kitchen and the bed. If it hadn't been so hot it would have been more bearable, but this apartment really does need air con. I've stayed at this hotel before and had a room in the main building. I was very pleased with that, and think that the rooms in the main building are charming and air conditioned. Makes a lot of difference.
