Lovely little hotel
Stayed at La Jabotte a weekend in October. Lovely place. Room was quite tiny, but big enough. Location is magnifique: Just few hudred meters from the beach. Besides the seagulls the room was quiet. They also have bikes to borrow without a charge. Even breakfast wasn't overly pricy. No real complaints about the hotel, but a warning for those who come by car: parking spots are quite small so SUVs etc will have it tight.
5 Star experience
Unfortunately, and I very much include myself in this, we have all become so conditioned to the star system that unless a hotel has X stars we won’t consider it. So my wife booked this boutique hotel, based on other reviews, for a long weekend and what a decision she made. From the moment Natalie and Pierre greeted us to the end of our stay we had a truly 5 star experience. From stepping out of our room to our little terrace each morning to the freshest breakfast you will ever have, to recommendations for every aspect of our stay, restaurant reservations etc etc we couldn’t have asked for anything more. The benefits of owning and running your own business is so clear to see. A 100m from the beech yet a have of tranquility. As for the tuk tuk tours and trips it brought back memories of our honeymoon, a while ago now! Yes it is a little quirky, no tv’s in the bedrooms but excellent WiFi and air-conditioning. So go on live a little and you won’t be disappointed. Thank you Natalie et Pierre. We shall return, hopefully sooner rather than later.
Pretty little low-key homestay style hotel in Antibes
We stayed at La Jabotte last weekend for a reunion of university friends. If you are looking for something reasonably priced, by Antibes standards, a bit more informal and more like staying in a friends house this could not be better. The pretty garden rooms all surround a courtyard and Nathalie and Pierre could not have been more welcoming or helpful. They recommended local restaurants, were very supportive when one of our group had to get back to the UK for an emergency and had a calm energy that suffuses the house and makes it feel like an oasis. The garden is also very pretty and the generous and delicious breakfasts are served here.. The rooms are prettily decorated, good aircon and thoughtful touches - but they are small and so are the showers so if you are looking for big spaces and complete privacy this may not be your place. But we loved it! Thank you Nathalie and Pierre for everything you did for us. Very best wishes and hope to be back! Lizzie
A Hidden Heaven
We stayed at La Jabotte on our honeymoon. Natalie and Pierre are the perfect hosts. Nothing is too much trouble for them, and their little touches around the hotel make it feel like a home away from home. The hotel is the perfect place to relax and unwind, away from the busy centre of Antibes, but only a short walk from many lovely bars and restaurants and the main town. Parasols and beach mats are also available to borrow which is useful, as the beach is only a hundred yards away. The honesty bar is also fantastic, with a good selection of drinks as well as local beverages, and usually came accompanied by lovely snacks from Natalie's kitchen. Breakfast was always beautiful, and very well presented. The rooms are decorated to a very high standard and everything was clean and tidy. Natalie was also very helpful during the booking process, and was responsive to messages when I was organising our car parking etc. To top it all off, Hush the resident dog was readily available for cuddles throughout our stay. (We miss you Hush) If, like us, you're not a fan of huge hotels and prefer a more personal experience, La Jabotte is made for you! Thank you Natalie and Pierre for making our trip so perfect. the best low key beach vacation
This was our last stop on a three week vacation. We picked La Jabotte based on the excellent reviews we read. We received a warm welcome from our hosts, Natalie and Pierre. the hotel is a short walk from the beach. All the rooms open onto a central garden area. There are plenty of tables and chairs for reading and relaxing. The rooms are small but tastefully decorated and have all the amenities. Our hosts made us feel at home. They offered great suggestions for restaurants and things to do in the area. We had difficulty with our credit card and Natalie helped us make an international call to the bank. Overall we couldn't have asked for a better place to wind down and relax.
