My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights, and would highly recommend it to anyone! We hope to come back again! Richard and Lucia were more friendly and accommodating than any other host we've ever encountered. They brought us local treats, were a wealth of helpful information for maximizing our short visit in the area, translated the news for us, looked up addresses for our destinations, and even called our hotel in Mexico City as translators for us when we wanted to modify our reservations for the next leg of our journey. He was also generous enough to give us his personal cell number, and offered to give us a ride if we became stranded anywhere during our explorations. When we left Puebla and headed to Mexico City, he said he'd be happy to help us over the phone if we needed a translator again. The breakfasts were absolutely another highlight of our trip. Richard is a talented chef and crafted multi-course breakfasts each day, tailoring the menu to match our interests in Puebla's unique local cuisine. He delighted our senses with fresh-squeezed juices, fresh fruits, and a variety of local breakfast items. Everything was made with organic produce, and he went out of his way to collect fresh ingredients just for our meals. The bed was the most comfortable one we've had so far in Mexico, our room and the private bathroom were large and clean, the towels and sheets were luxury quality, and the house was just gorgeous. The neighborhood was very safe and quiet, so we were very comfortable the entire time. We really enjoyed staying in their home and felt like we became friends during our short visit. Lucia and Richard were both very kind, and we were sad to part ways so soon.

What can i say about Bed & Breakfast Puebla La Paz? To be honest, i don't know what to say. The hosts are very kind people, they are always willing to help and it's nice because somehow they worry about you as a human being. Richard prepares an excellent breakfast every morning and gives you the feeling that you are at home by talking to you about anything you want. About my room, i can say it was amazing, small but comfortable with everything i needed: hot water, good places to have all your stuff, a good warm bed to spend the night, etc. I don't know what else to say, i can keep talking about everything and yet i won't find anything negative. I may be returning to Puebla the next year, and if i do so, i hope there's space for me on those dates, because it feels a lot like home.
Excellent Service! Host very helpful.

I was looking for a B&B close to downtown but after searching and seeing some reviews I decided to stay here and I don't regret it at all. The room was very spacious, the bed super comfortable, full with little details like fresh roses, bottle water and a candy that were there in my room when I arrived, the room clean and house with lots of security that I didnt even carry the room key, I was feeling like if I was at home. Sam made me feel welcomed and helped me arrange my sightseeing by giving me tips and guiding me with bus routes, prices, restaurants to eat like a 5 start hotel concierge, he was very proactive and try to help me in any way possible to make my stay comfortable. At the end of the day he offered me a cup of tea and we share our experiences and answer my questions on some things I saw during the day. The breakfast was very interesting and good! prepared by a graduate chef and it was something different even for me that I am from the same country. It gave me ideas to make those kind of breakfast at home. On my departure, Sam was very thoughtful about everything, he let me print my boarding pass and also pack some fruit to eat in my way to the airport. Since I took the bus from Puebla to Mexico City airport. I was very pleased with my stay and if I come back I will stay there again. Now with Uber in puebla, taxi is around 40 to 50 pesos from the B&B to downtown. The bus to cholula is $6.00 pesos and you can take it close to the house (2 blocks) The reservation: Richard was very attentive and provided all the information for my arrival. Also after my stay he contacted me to make sure if everything was fine with my stay. I totally recommend this B&B. Worth every 'peso' spent on it. Thanks Richard and Sam for a good stay.

Sleep quality - excellent! The bed was very comfortable. I REALLY appreciated the fan b/c it was not possible to have the windows open due to mosquitoes; the fan made all the difference for me. Quiet - very quiet - good sleeping Cleanliness - excellent! Mari, housekeeper, does a great job. Rooms - very spacious and bedrooms had LOTS of closet space Service - excellent! Richard was so quick to respond to all of my many questions. Mari, housekeeper, met me at the home to give me the keys & orientation. When I left, she arrived punctually so I could turn the keys in. She was wonderful! I was able to speak Spanish with her, so I don't know how much English she knows. Value/Location - very good. Because the Stone family was not in Puebla, I had the entire house. It was so much more space than I needed & I paid more than I had hoped to in order to stay in La Paz, but.... location, location, location :) The most important & efficient thing for me was to be close to my friend's family's house, so it worked great. I walked to and from their house during the day, but I wanted to avoid taking cabs at night & being so close made it easy for my friends to drive me home at night. Outlets - this is a funny thing but very nice that the house was American outlets! I could use my hairdrier w/the ground plug so I didn't need to use an adapter. :) I also appreciated the power strip so I could charge all of my electronics right next to the bed. Laundry - while I didn't need it, for some guests that will be a big plus. ATMs close by: HSBC & Santander - My credit union has a website to search for ATMs nearby any address, so I used it and knew that the Santander would work for me to withdraw cash b/c I use the "Plus" network. I used it on a Sunday and the door to the ATM was unlocked and it can be locked from the inside for safety. I didn't try the HSBC, but it probably has an ATM. Convenience Store - very close & it had the basics I needed. Written directions to house - I gave them to the friends who dropped me off & picked me up & they had no problem finding the house. It was so helpful to be able to look for the pink wall. :) Security - the home is VERY secure & has a security system. I stayed there alone & felt very comfortable. Wi-Fi - FANTASTIC!!!! It was so wonderful to have consistent, strong and fabulous access for texting, email & surfing. It was so good that I was able to make WhatsApp & Facebook phone calls no problem. While I didn't stream video, I'm sure one could. Public Transport - within a short walk, many buses go by going downtown, among other parts of the city., the UDLAP (university) & Cholula Taxis - within a short walk or Richard knows a good taxi company & a reliable taxi driver
