Clean enough but overall disappointing stay. Food is pretty dreadful - luckily good restaurants in town but it means a 15 min taxi ride there and back. No other amenities nearby so you are pretty much stuck at the hotel if no car. Pool ok but were a lot of kids, yet travelling in school break. I think they let local kids use it. Makes it loud and busy.
Where they got the forth star?

Average 3* hotel in the middle of nowhere. Not enough sunbeds near the pool. Scarce breakfast and poor dinner (actually, you have no choice at all). Staff is friendly, but the building needs renovation
Better than reviews

Mid to 4 start hotel a bit out of town; in terms of before trip reviews I would rate the place higher for English speaking; while true that a lot of staff ha little english the Chef and Bar Manager had very good english and let's face it; that is all that is important; Rooms were tidy and large enough; free wifi; a little slow but good enough for general and business purposes; nice grounds and staff were friendly; if you stay; have the fish as a dinner meal; was beautiful; don't have the "minute meals"; Out of town a bit so I don 't think may be the best for 20 to 35 year olds wanting to party but for anyone else a good choice that becomes a great choice when you think of price elvel hotel
Nice hotel, terrible reception

I decided to visit the Iguazu Falls just month and I picked this hotel. I arrived in a taxi with 2 huge backpacks. No one at the hotel helped me, the 2 guys at the reception were staring at me and who I was struggling. The receptionist wasnt friendly and rush to charge me a extra fee. I was confused as I already paid for the hotel, later I figured out that it was a eco fee for the government but they failed to explain that at the beginning. Breakfast was good and the hotel was clean enough overall. At dinner time I decided to visit the restaurant, I picked a table and the restaurant manager came to me and said "what"(qué, in spanish). Horrible way to greet a guest from the hotel. Those 2 incidents made my stay less precious. My advice: The receptionist are unprepared, rude and unprofessional. Pick another hotel with a good review on their staff. When you travel, people want to feel welcomed. Thw hotel is nice enough but nothing amazing. Pick another hotel closer to the town.
Beautiful and relaxing hotel

My family and I stayed here 4 nights in the lodges section. The little cabins are very comfortable and quiet, there is a nice pool in the center. The breakfast is excellent, the buffet dinner kind of pricey except on weekends which is a la carte. Loved this vacation!
