Overall beautiful resort
We had a spacious 3 bedroom, 4 bath unit in building 6 and we're very happy with it, especially the view from the huge balcony. Resort grounds are lush and beautiful and staff were super helpful. Only negative was the "concierge" (aka timeshare salesperson) assigned to us on our arrival. I think his name was Roberto Perez and he tried to prevent us from going to our room until we divulged personal financial information and signed a document to the "mandatory" 90 minute breakfast the next morning. He even tried to tell us we would have to pay for the free airport transportation if we didn't go to the breakfast. This was around 7:00pm after a day of flying and we just wanted to go to our room. He eventually stopped hounding us and handed us the documents he wanted us to sign. This experience left such a negative impression on us and the irony is if he had been kind and let us see our amazing room first, and called us in the morning, we just might have accepted the breakfast invitation. Only other negative was road work creating dust next to the tennis courts but that's out of the hotel's control.
Great resort and location
Large piece of property very well located, fantastic views, very large units. Older property but very well kept. No sales pitch! Very well manicured grounds, large grocery and two banks across the street, 80 peso cab ride to Old Town PV.
Beautiful mexican resort in the heart of Puerto Vallarta
This older but well maintained resorts sits minutes away from the heart of Puerto Vallarta. The resort has spectacular views of the Bay of Banderas and many of its pools sit right on the beach. The resort provides a feeling of actually being in Mexico that many of the newer resorts lack. The resort has a number of large iguanas and peacocks that roam the resort. The staff was friendly and helpful. The resort consists of a number of three or four story buildings and there are no elevators. In addition many of the units have stairs and if you have trouble with stairs contact the resort to see if they can accommodate you. A number of other reviews have mentioned the loud night club that is near the resort that you might want to review before deciding to stay here. Personally my wife and I did not find it that bothersome but we were located in building 4.

The grounds and rooms very nice and spacious. Many options for room placement. Beware rooms on upper floors- no elevator. Also- no umbrellas so all lounges in the sun. Front desk unfriendly and unhelpful
Vacation
This is a lovely resort. Nice units with living room, bedroom, kitchen and patio. Lots of pools. Beach, but not the best area. Lovely restaurant. Nice staff. One very poor incident ..... not us, but my family were robbed in their unit. They lost important documents and cash. It was a terrible inconvenience to say the least. I’d go elsewhere next visit.
