Modern, nicely maintained Hotel with spacious rooms and a good bed.

Only stayed two nights while passing through, and enjoyed our stay. Hotel is 8-10 minutes walk to the waterfront and downtown but there is a nice walkway that avoids the traffic streets. We arrived late so ate in the burger bar downstairs and enjoyed our casual meal. Recommended
Very comfy in a good location

Spent 4 nights here up on the top floor. Massive bed and room with good bathroom with view of the lake and the volcano beyond, when the clouds permitted. Location: a short 10min walk in to town so easy but without the noise of traffic & people outside your window. Breakfast: The best so far in our tour. We chose fruit, yoghurt, berries, granola & wholemeal toast plus eggs. Good pleasant service but the coffee was weak. Reception: very helpful in finding me a therapist for my hurt back. Room cleaned well. Food: Burger bar downstairs convenient and tasty. Made me up a meat free salad which was very tasty. Do try Santos Fuego restaurant on the way in to town whilst you’re in Puerto Varas. I fear this hotel has raised the bar and subsequent hotels will not match up.
Great location, very basic service

We stayed in Hotel Puelche for 4 nights during our Patagonia trip. it was the most expensive hotel we stayed throughout our journey. However, the service was not the greatest. Wifi wasn’t working everywhere, the cleaning service would leave trash and dirt. We had to ask and wait for towels. It is situated very conveniently from the downtown area and all the tours offer a pick up. If it wasn’t $168 a night I would say it is a good 1-2 star hotel. So next time you book it, make sure you are not overpaying
A nice little hotel

Stayed for one night. Room spacious and clean as was bathroom. Good location. Hotel in good order though could use some renovating. I thought the price was a little high for was it was, but it was still with the realms of acceptable. Staff pretty nice, WARNING- car park is TINY!

The hotel is about a 10 minute walk from the city center. The rooms are spacious and a huge nice bed. The disappointment was the breakfast. Breakfast is served (3 choices) and when it is busy you have to wait a while. No fill up for your tea or coffee, the waiter is too busy with serving all the guests. This can be improved for a 4 star hotel.
